There's one about him being Brazilian I think which I assume is because there was that Brazilian star player called James Rodriguez who played for Barcelona and Borussia Dortmund

He looks good, he looks fine, I've got Jay Rodriguez on my mind and he's Burnleys number 9, singing do ah diiddy didi dim Diddy do, running past defenders, scoring one or two,
Or something like that

You’d think that other parts of the ground would be abe to catch it but I couldn’t because of the speed it was sung again

Sounds like a ripoff of the Spurs/England chant for Harry Kane. Still by Burnley standards it's relatively original

It would appear you either neglected to check who the poster was or you are not familiar with his work.

CFS needs a metronome as it’s sang far, far too fast

Tbf the Kane/England version is also sang at a quick pace when we was in Milan, similar to how it was sang on Saturday

A few folk probably need to listen to the original song again.

Line 3 should repeat 'dooh wah diddy diddy dum diddy do'.
Actually saw Paul Jones perform that at King's Hall, Ilkley, a couple of weeks back. Still a fine singer at 80.

Slightly OT but it really annoys me how we find the constant need to reference them lot down the road in our songs. It genuinely feels like we sing more about hating them than we do our own team.

I was only putting a bit of space in the original posters wording to allow it to scan better
Is this better doug

It’ll sound great if people sing it at the correct tempo. As long as it’s sang at a pace that sounds like you’re all off your t1ts it’ll sound awful.

Let me guess, sung at 180 bpm, accompanied by manic clapping that get faster and faster until it reaches a point where it is completely indecipherable?

Can anyone really see the coked up CFS lot singing “ do wah diddy” in anything approaching a decipherable beat ? Whats the VK song to tune of “ Mrs Robinson “? It’s sung so fast it doesn’t even resemble the tune .

You need to thank the "coked up CFS" as without them the matchday experience would not be as good. Only part of the ground with any atmosphere.

If they slowed down maybe the rest of the ground could catch on an join in! Can’t anyone make a slow down sign every time the CFS sing and hold it up at them?

Exactly this - Without the CFS, there would be absulutely no atmosphere from the home ends.
Even if it sung at a snails pace, no other stand would be joining in !

Criticism of the CFS always puzzles me. Is it perfect? Course not. But without it there'd be zero atmosphere at all. Other people in other stands are allowed to start a song...

Only sat in the cfs Stand once since the old days when it was all ours, but I tend to think the ppl criticising them are ppl sat in other stands with there mouths shut.most maybe on coke but 90% of the youths are,it’s only Same as the cats whiskers and a pill in the 80s we have all been naughty once.

A lot of weird defensiveness coming from the CFS regulars here, we're only asking you to sing at the correct tempo - not give up coke.

As much as I totally backed the need for home fans to be in the CFS due to the amplification of noise it creates and the away fans always being heard over any other stand, the problem it has created is removing those who were vocal in JHU that then another 7 thousand fans would join in with. I have had a ST in JHU block 5 since the stand was built so remember when it was a good atmosphere in there, but now you get odd pockets of us who sing and certainly not the atmosphere it used to be. However I will add even when the atmosphere was good in the JHU it was not as audible as the CFS so we are back status quo.

Whilst accepting that the “coke heads” do provide much of the atmosphere, I fail to see why singing about the Longside at 10000 beats per minute is relevant when I bet none of them ever stood on it!
Newer songs are good, but just need slowing down a touch and more would join in!

Why are so many posters on here obsessed with labelling everyone a coke head who are in the CFS? There are quite a number of Dads who take their kids on the CFS. Are they all coke heads too? Odd behaviour.
