Looks like Maatsen isn’t playing as he just posted a video of himself at home with his personal chef.
Kevin Long and Roberts have travelled with the squad.

Presume he’s injured if not in the squad.

I presume Vitinhio to left back and Roberta to right back then. Which in my book is a shame considering the partnership Vitinhio and tella have

Would far rather have Taylor coming in to left back.

Would rather see straight swop of Taylor for Maatsen if out

Vitinho has played well down the left so no concerns. Shows how strong we are, although it's better when Barnes and Long don't make the bench.

Two changes to the back four that's just kept two clean sheets is frustrating.

Disappointed no Maatson. Good to see Long on the bench to help with any late aerial threat.

Forced reportedly.
Imagine if it were a squad rotation that midfield and attack are more overdue.
Hoping it doesn’t have a big impact on performances which in my opinion have been much improved last game in particular.

Common sense suggests they both have knocks / injuries. They are hardly going to be rested.

Bizarre that he’s left Westwood out too. VK is losing the plot.

But we've had two different goalkeepers for those two clean sheets.

Both Birmingham and Sunderland local newspapers have been reporting that Burnley are missing 3 midfielders for both their games: Westwood, Twine and one other...

Think VK has learnt from the late goals conceded from headers so far this season. Long 100% on the bench to utilise for extra height to combat Juke if or when he comes on in my opinion.

Or as an auxiliary striker if we need a goal with 10 mins to play.

I know VK doesn't mind doing a bit of tinkering, especially when fixtures are thick and fast, but no way would he have disrupted things by not selecting Beyer and Maatsen after Saturday's brilliant showing. It's extremely frustrating that we've reached that level of performance and now suddenly have to shuffle the pack due to injuries. Let's just hope it's nowt too serious.

Hoping they're just knocks and we're erring on the side of caution. Immensely frustrating we can't keep the defence settled though.

Looks like Brum are struggling on and off the field - half the seats are covered over, it looks terrible.

They are actually one of the form teams in the league. Eustace is doing a fantastic job. Very tough game tonight.

I believe their ground is literally falling apart around them. Hence the closure of sections of the ground.

Birmingham in solid form. Good defensively - will be a much different proposition than Saturday. We'll see a lot of the ball but they'll be organised and tough to break down. Will need some patience and to be mindful of the break away.
