But do you not think "why should he" ... We are playing a lot of games in a short space of time and he has to utilise the squad ... so today 1st half we wore them out ... He then brought on the big guns and buried em ... Job done

I see where you are coming from, NRC, in terms of total honesty from the gaffer.
Sometimes things are better not said. Imagine how some of the players, especially those subbed at half-time or afterwards, would have felt if they'd heard their manager say: "I got the 11 wrong..."
VK has to keep them motivated, because at some stage he will need them again.

sorry Al, as soon as the full time whistle went I had to jump in a taxi to get to the airport, great win !

he made one change at half time, hardly proof that he got the formation wrong.
we started nullifying Sunderland after about 25 minutes.
