I look at the the Prem results tonight and see the same old faces scrapping at the bottom. OK Florest are new but I cant help my heart thinking I'm glad we aren't there.

Yes we need the money but I'm enjoying being the big fish in the small pond. The Championship is so open and much more exciting....anyone can beat anyone...apart from us lol. Seriously, I wish this was the prem!

The amount of money flying around means it’s very difficult to survive.

If we were in the Prem, I’m not sure we’d be seeing Benson or Zaroury this season…there’s no middle ground.

Burnley being relegated has allowed us that reset which my mate wants at Leeds. It should happen authentically in football, but it rarely does.

In all honesty i was gutted with relegation and saw it as potentially the start of a downward spiral. I had little confidence we would even steady the ship, sufficiently to challenge this season.

Have to take my hat off to the Burnley Board for the way they turned a bad situation round.

I’m enjoying it now and don’t miss the top-tier, but am looking forward to getting back; before the novelty wears off and steady decline can begin… as it must without the Premier money.

The majority of the PL clubs are just there to make up the numbers.
Whilst it may not be the same old faces at the lower end of the league, the complaints we're seeing/hearing from fans of other clubs are similar to what a number of our fans were saying for the last few seasons.

Boring, dull football, no excitement, not pushing the boat out on signings etc.

A number of fan bases are starting to realise their clubs are just there to make up the numbers.

This idea that the Championship is a better league than the Premier League is still just a delusion because we're winning all the time. How many Sunderland fans think it's a great league when they were beating us 2-0 so brought on 5 players who cost millions of pounds and beat them?

No, no.....all clubs are fully aware of the financial consequences of relegation. From a Burnley perspective, it's imperative that we return to the Premier League (not Premiership) as quickly as possible.

Probably have the best approach as long as it keeps working , we have 2-3 years to get back up or we will find it difficult.the board never sacrificing our wage structure or going full tonto on transfers means we have a fighting chance..

Not arguing, whether they know the financial implications. But anyone wishing to leave the Premier League, is always basing it on the assumption they can go back up at will. History says that is far from a given, that would happen.

Most of those liabilities would be based on them staying up, they didn't.
