8/5 to win the Championship

Suddenly become very hot favourites.
Sheff Utd 4/1
Norwich 6/1
The rest are even longer.
Amazing what one week can do.

That’s making my 14/1 each way bet look a bit tasty.
Backed us in a multiple bet with City to win title, Haaland to be leading scorer and Wrexham to win national league.
Only concern at moment is Wrexham as Notts County are flying and have the non league equivalent of Haaland banging goals in for them every week !

When I checked yesterday we were also odds on for promotion.

Got a treble, City for Prem, Burnley Champ at 12/1 and Sheff Wed for League One.

I think you'll be OK, lots of League One/Championship interest in Langstaff at Notts Co in January.

Got us at 13/1 at the start of the season. Stuck on a tenner and cash out out is 37.50 just now

Not even tempted to cash out, well not on my remaining single bets. I have cashed out to cover all my ante-post footie bets so any other returns are all profit.

8/5 is a crazy price when you look at the facts.
We haven't played a good side yet this season.
The only decent signings we made all summer are on loan, the permanent ones are average
Sheff Utd have already run away with the league
Cork's legs have gone
Rodriguez should have been released rather than a new deal
We don't score enough (top scorers in the league)
Keeper is rubbish
We struggle to defend (only 1 team conceded less than us)

I'm surprised that bet is aloud. Slightly conflicting bets there

And everyone knows you only get out of this league with a manager that has experience at doing it before.
Should be at least 150-1 with all of this...

Don't think we have been shorter than 8/1 since the Huddersfield match. For me 8/5 is generous now. We really should be much shorter had we been more clinical in some matches. It is only going to get shorter. Take the price now fellow Clarets !!!!!!!

Stats, eh.

Those stats on that fivethirtyeight site are awful.
They forecast we are only 50/50 to go up, and have us at 80 points, so 42 points from the last 26 games. That is 74 points per season form (extrapolated to 46 games) from here on in which is rarely enough for the playoffs. There is little sign of that drop off in form after just 2 defeats.
I’d like to have some of what their statisticians have been drinking. It’s total nonsense. Like I say often, there are no bad stats, just bad statisticians.

I got 100 on us at 12/1 to be champions
