Relieved with the result from Coventry but I’ve been watching the Spurs game and it’s sad to see the demise of Harry Kane, from an England point of view. Mourinho ruined him. Made him a much better footballer but took away his killer instinct. He will still score regularly but he’s not the sniper he was before Jose.

Sheffield utd very physical, very lucky, 2 off woodwork for Bristol city.
Norwood should have been off, now Bristol city guy goes!
Fear for some of our lads on Saturday

If anyone but you DA had posted this I’d be shocked. Sheff are a decent side but you know we are the team to beat and they are quite a bit behind us. But I do expect them to go up auto with us, but quite a few points behind.Devils_Advocate wrote: ↑Tue Nov 01, 2022 9:32 pmSheff Utd look like the team to beat this season but I reckon we aren't far behind and are real automatic promotion contenders

Spurs win it to top group. Hjobjerg 4m20s into 4m added.
That was the definitive game of two halves. Spurs were more dire than Eric Dier first half and totally dominated the second.

Offside goal, 2 off the post, an arguable red not given! Not a lot of luck for us in that game.
Mcatee hobbling heavily & another player carrying an injury though.

Really don’t like the extra days rest before a lunchtime kickoff away from home. We could have done with playing tonight but yet again we get shafted with the schedules before a big game. It happens too often to be a coincidence and was probably why we got relegated last season.

If we win tomorrow that’s us 5 points clear. It makes you think about the lost points in injury time doesn’t it? We could be ten points clear if we’d have kept three of those out. We really are something special and we seem to be getting better. People bang on about Sheff Utd and Norwich but they are not in our universe just now. Of course we could dip for any number of reasons but just now there is no-one near us.
Cue Rotherham win tomorrow.

Pity about Sheff Utd winning, but a real chance to put some serious daylight between ourselves and the rest with 3 points tomorrow.
Spurs score at the death to win their CL group.

A win tomorrow would set us apart...

2 results out of 3 went in our favour tonight. I will happily accept that.

They've had a long trip to Bristol though, whereas we are at home.Hibsclaret wrote: ↑Tue Nov 01, 2022 10:02 pmReally don’t like the extra days rest before a lunchtime kickoff away from home. Yet again? I'm not saying I don't agree necessarily, but I'd like to see your examples from last season. Don't you think the 6 games in hand that we had in January might have contributed to the shorter rest period, rather than being selected too often for TV?Hibsclaret wrote: ↑Tue Nov 01, 2022 10:02 pmReally don’t like the extra days rest before a lunchtime kickoff away from home.
