Just watching the game cos nowt else to do
B..tard rovers defence well leaky.
Not a disciplined back 4 at all...but they pass the ball well...not achieving anything tho.
Benson , Maatsen, and Azoury will rip the flank defence apart I think.. Tella and Jay will score.
20 mins gone 0-0.....think it will end up that way ...but Cov on top at mo .

5 shots on goal from Cov in 35 minutes - let's hope they don't rue their wastefulness.

Rovers are playing like a pub team. Doubt there’ll be a rovers return to the prem with that team.

If their Chilean striker born in Stoke isn't firing, they usually struggle. They also must have a decent keeper because they seem to face an awful lot of shots most matches.

Keeper is very solid.
They are actually 4th bottom in an ‘xG’ league which suggests they’ve been very clinical (score a lot of worldies), have a good keeper and grind games out.
We are top of the ‘xG’ league which suggests we are about right…

Be interesting to see if they keep Brereton Diaz in January. Will be Venky's last chance to get some money for him as I'm guessing he won't stay (if they don't go up).

Interesting. As normalisation tends to kick in eventually.

It’s the first time I’ve watched them tonight and am now confident that we can rip them a new one tbh.

You wouldn't think that Rovers were 2nd with the size of there following. They really are a poor supported tin pot outfit these days and long may it continue

word is they will not sell in January
https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/footb ... ummer.html
and he definitely wants to play in the top-flight somewhere and has turned down new contract offers at Rovers - he already has offers from Spain, Italy and the Premier League

I’d have thought he’d go even if they do go up - too good an opportunity to leave as a free agent & get a massive deal elsewhere. You could maybe see him signing an extra year or something but that’s taking a risk he doesn’t need from his perspective.
I’m not convinced he’s Prem quality but maybe that’s the side he’s playing in. I’d love to get him if we went up though

Excellent. They really are nothing much based on that performance. Put it this way if that was Burnley it would have been about two notches worse than we have played at our worst this season.

Still means they're on for 26 wins which is 78 points for the season.

I think that is the 4th full game I have watched of them and not once have I been even slightly impressed with them. If they play anything like that, and we play anywhere near where we can, added to a partisan sell out home support, it could be an absolute tonking for them. A humiliation not seen for generations. The best part is...... They know it already....

Certainly looks to be the best chance for a long long time to give them a stuffing. The type of team we were under SD rarely gave anyone a stuffing as unlikely as we were to get one ourselves. The current team gives us the possibilities tbh.

They can only catch us on the break, we can’t afford to go gung-ho and get caught out behind.
We have more than enough attacking talent to rip them a new one. Patience will be the key. Score first and force them to come out at us, then in for the kill.
BTW. They are a team of bully boys and they’ll come to kick our little fellas. Please boys no retaliation let the ref handle them.

Reckon they'll be ultra cautious at the Turf, sadly.
If they come at us and try and play football we can batter them. Sadly I think they'll make things much trickier than they have for Cov tonight.
It's all about keeping their big lad quiet and playing to our own strengths.

It looks like they’ll be a decent side at home this season but pretty dreadful away from home.
I hope we put 5 past them on the 13th.

They are pretty awful but let's not get it twisted in these games form goes out the window i certainly won't be getting too big headed until half time when we're 4 nil up.

I'm just wondering how many games Dyche lost to.them? Do you know? I'm not a one for stats.

Dyche was a great manager for that type of game and we never looked like losing one with the exception of Vokesy’s late equaliser. We were for sure never going to beat them 5 nil.

There appear to be a number of sites with xg league tables. The one I was looking at had Middlesbrough top and West Brom second, which really just proves that these stats are very subjective and pretty meaningless.
