Not the greatest scenes at full time there. Awful result for them but it’s around the time they’re usually calling for a new manager.

Not cracking fireworks and parading Lampard as a hero anymore are they?

Hilariously bad fans.

Fairly predictable wasn't it really?

Lampard appears to be a decent enough bloke, just nothing special as a manager.
Hasn't been helped by years of poor managers and transfer policy prior to his appointment though, which is going to take years to resolve.

Surely Lampard goes , he’s been that ultra cushioned as a manager it’s impossible to see what level he’s at ,but I’d say average at best. Did ok with Chelsea but so could have of UTC board . Can’t blame the scousers for being appalled at that sh1tshow ( no matter how vile they are as a whole )

Properly bad fanbase. They are a huge part of a problem. I couldn’t believe the atmosphere at Goodison last week. No support for their team, railing against their own players etc.

Everton were a top side when I was a young lad, the problem is I'm 50 next year and it's getting towards 40 years since they were anything more than a middling premier league club.

Unfortunately most of their fans I have encountered seem to think they have a God given right to be a top 4 club and they simply haven't been for years.

Please note I say most I have encountered as they are a few who seem to accept that modern day Everton is no longer what it once was.

Hard to feel a lot of sympathy to be honest, with a lot of things going there way towards the end of last season and the media hyperbole about them being too good to go down, they certainly deserved to be a candidate for relegation as we deserved to relegated.

They’re a horrible set of fans, proper nasty set of turn coats. People’s club my arse.

Lampard has been rank bad as a manager since his first promising season as Chelsea boss and is probably wishing he’d got the scousers relegated now.

I'm sure there must be a good one or two around somewhere, but I'm yet to meet one.

I always thought there was a difference in behaviour and respect shown by scousers dependant on whether they were red or blue. Recent bad experiences of both sets of fans has changed my mind. You can fully understand the arrogance of the red side, but the unfounded arrogance of the blue side is quite staggering considering all they ever do is spend £200m a year and then only manage to be average at best.

Watch that video... go to a game when they get beat and watch the most misunderstood groups of fans go from being tolerant of everyone and everything to vicious bullies, hounding players into the ground. Like a pack of rabid wolves. Who do they think they are?

My guess is they'd think they're too good for SD. Kompanys Mrs wanted to be back in the North West. I hope its unlikely but if he was offered the job you'd have to think he could be tempted.

I have a couple of good friends who are fanatical Toffee’s fans, one in his sixties another in his late twenties. Both are quiet intellectuals, who find the majorities self-entitlement extremely embarrassing. Both have a soft spot for Burnley, as demonstrated by their depth of knowledge about us.

The sickening thing is they think they have a divine right to play in the Premier League.

Perhaps Tarks and McNeil were never destined to play above the Burnley level.

I wonder what a season with VK might have done for him.
Having said that he'd be unlikely to get a game ahead of Zaroury.

I think it would have done him the world of good, a move to a club as toxic as Everton never seemed like a good one. Having said that, how many would swap him back for Zaroury or Benson? Granted, they’ve had a chance to make their mark at a considerably lower level so it’s not fair to compare like for like.

It was only the other week McNeil scored a very good goal for Everton.
I think he is capable but is easily out of the game when his team are struggling. Fighter he is not!

Purely and simply the financial rewards of leaving Turf Moor for Tarks and Dwight.

Ultimately they will both regret their decision.

I reckon he’d have loved playing for VK and VK would’ve loved to have had him. Fair enough, it’s a PL move for him and it’s all about the £££ at the end of the day, but I do wonder this will turn out to be the wrong club at the wrong time.
