The Pulse version from the Division Bell tour will never be bettered, even though no Roger.

Oh dear, well i do know what the lyrics are about detachment from reality which if memory serves was an experience roger had on some tour in the states in a city which i cant remember when a doctor prescribed him some drugs that made him feel numb and detached from reality, when he did the show, But if your suggesting that you support rogers current views ,there is obviously a very great hole in your ability to process stuff that no logic, facts or persuasion will dissuade you from.

Great song though by the way , though id go as far to say the scissor sisters version is better than his,

I agree re RW is latterly beginning to get into conspiracy theory madcap views, expect he'll start talking about lizards soon. The (not infrequently raised) question is can you separate the personality from the art?
It is a dilemma. You get to really like an artist (musical or otherwise) then find out things about their lives that make you pretty much dislike the person; does it stop you liking their art?

For me- it does put me off the person's art a bit but not completely, I've still got to begrudgingly accept the pleasure of the art.

The fact Floyd allowed Scissor Sisters to cover Comfortably Numb suggests they’re not against more contemporary artists themselves.

Well sort of depends on what you mean by nutty , joe rogan and Dave smith being used as vindicators would in a lot of peoples minds undermine any subsequent arguments. Particularly as you describe them as amazing . But each to is own as long as they say. If you had troubled yourself to fully understand what id posted you would see that i agree Comfortably Numb is a great song , just not this version.

It takes some doing to get a MAGA friendly Joe Rogan clip on a thread about Pink Floyd, but never underestimate the incel community.
