The ITV commentators were just discussing who is the greatest player never to play in the World Cup and I wondered if anyone knows whether Jon Walters played for Ireland in a World Cup?

He'd certainly be in the top 3/4 yes, he could have played in 82 but Billy Bingham went to check him out in a tour game and wasn't impressed .
