I was delighted to be invited to the launch of Barry’s book today.

He was in good form and looked really well. A good number there including some former members of BFC staff and I also had the opportunity to speak to the likes of Dobbo, a gentleman as always, and his wife, former Burnley FC CEO Dave Edmundson, now vice chair at Yorkshire CCC, and opera singer Seán Ruane, he who sang Nessun Dorma on the Turf a few years ago.

Best of luck with the book Barry and he’s signing copies at the Royal Dyche a week on Friday.

I ordered a copy via Barry's website around the end of November and probably had to wait a week or so for it to arrive. With the current postal strikes there's no telling how long it might take to process and deliver orders. I'd give it another day then chase them up.

Is there any significance in Barry using the Royal Dyche rather than Turf Moor?

Did you get any confirmation/order email? I only have a payment confirmation but nothing else...

I've emailed them but not heard anything either. Not for a minute thinking I've been had here, but just concerned I don't have any confirmation and concerned with it being an Xmas pressie!

It was a payment receipt received by e-mail which I took to be the order confirmation also.

I'm sure the BKPCA will get in touch shortly if your book hasn't materialised.
