Not sure it’ll be the easiest to get away from afterwards but we’ve booked to park in Tescos

We have parked around the Media City area in the past and home in 25 minutes.
Last time the driver wanted to park on the Lowry centre car park for extra security and it took 20 minutes to get out of the car park.
Still great access to the 602 on that side.

Couldn't tell you a decent place but avoid Trafford Park, parked their twice and it takes forever to get to the M60 after the game.

Get a tram from somewhere north of centre
Maybe Crumpsall
Then get tram back from Firswood

Have a look at mine and Silkyskills1 posts on ticket information thread re North Manchester, I wouldn't park in Crumpsall. Radcliffe or Whitefield are better options. Mind you I had my ford fiesta pop plus nicked in 1995 from Radcliffe tram stop, found on an estate in Bacup!

Can never hear of that place without thinking of Mike Harding's 'The Crumpsall cream crackers kamikaze cubs go to camp' story. Proper Northern humour

I usually park off the A56 in Stretford for free and walk to the ground. From Burnley go clockwise around the M60 to avoid the M602 clog up

Just paid £7 to park few mins walk away from ground on the JustPark app. Always easy to use and simple/cheap.

I used YourParkingSpace for the first time for Birmingham away. Parked at the nearby Asda, ensured I was well within the times and followed instructions on where to park etc.
Sure enough, a few days later I got a PCN from ParkingEye. Obviously contested it and sent them all the details, and finally (today) they wrote to say it was cancelled. So no damage done but hassle I could have done without.

that's my only concern with it too. I've had a similar experience with JustPark - took months of me being threatened with court before they agreed that they were in the wrong. All because I have a private plate on my car that read a zero 0 as a letter O and they didn't believe me over their handheld registration device.
That said - just use the YourParkingSpace site to book a space at the Premier Inn on the Keys for £5 - so I'll see how it goes.

That’s unfortunate but glad eventually sorted.
The only worry we’ve had was when we booked to park at B&Q for the Wigan game
The original booking was under my car reg but we ended up goin in my brothers car and changed it on the way there but there was no issue with it

Weekend matches always parked on Goodiers Drive estate with quick access on to M602 and for night matches I had an office in Manchester so worked there and got my car parked early at back of Tollgate pub and headed into City and round the inner ring road which is dead on a Tues/Wed night.
Decent chippy opposite the pub to get some tea on walk to ground and provided you dont mind a 20 min walk and walk at a decent pace both locations are good for a quick get away

I have come off at Junction 7 pass Stretford Shopping Mall and park around Derbyshire Lane .. It is a brisk 15 minute walk but any closer
and you are paying .. When leaving carry on down Derbyshire Lane do a left and it brings you to the M60 within 2 or 3 minutes beating the
traffic jams ..
