I am staying in Hammersmith Saturday night before QPR match. Any suggestions where best to watch the match please.

Depends whereabouts in Hammersmith you're staying. There are a few pubs on King Street, notably the Salutation, Hammersmith Arms and the Hop Poles (where I watched a lot of the 2002 World Cup). It's a short walk from Hammersmith Broadway (the huge 1990s development that featured on the opening credits of Bottom) down to the river where you could try the Rutland or the Dove. Alternatively, you could head towards Brook Green and try the Keep of Brook Green which has a much younger vibe or the Havelock Tavern which is definitely showing the football.

Yesterday The Green at Shepherds Bush cancelled my booking and returned deposit(yet to happen) because company policy does not allow under 18’s to be in after 7:30 which doesn’t work with a 7pm kick off for England game.
No alternatives or help give by the local manageress Emma or central bookings Linda
Anybody suggest a.n.other at this late stage ?

Possibly have a look at Hotels that have sky and go and sit in their bar, you’ll be fine with under 18’s if they think you’re staying there
