Putting a damper on it

Post by Carwin261 » Sun Dec 18, 2022 9:46 pm

Loving the way we are playing, but having been a pessimistic Clarets fan for the last 65yrs I can’t help but wonder if ,and when we get promotion what will Vince do if THB ,Tella,Bayer,Maatsen, are recalled to their parent clubs.

I’m confident based on this years recruitment, we don’t need to worry.

We will have more money to fund new signings, using the new recruitment set-up Pace and Kompany have introduced. I am confident we could cope well with the challenges of the PL.

I rekon we will sign Beyer and Maatsen permanently. THB may come again on another 1 year loan. Not sure on what the future holds for Tella. I fear we will lose him in January. However, as good as he has been we have shown that we have strength in depth and will likely replace him within.

Apparently there’s already a deal in place for Bayer which could be completed in January

People who think of issues before they happen are in for a pretty sad life IMHO.
Just enjoy the current time. There is actually no such thing as the future or the past. It doesn't exist. It's now that you need to concentrate on it.

Well following your post I hope Vincent Kompany has an extremely sad life and he has plans in place for any issues that might hit the squad for whatever reason.

Look at what Kompany has been able to attract to a newly relegated team - imagine who he can bring in to a newly promoted team !!!!!!

That's his problem, not ours and he gets paid for that. Just enjoy the moment
