Can only see positives for tonight. Whatever the score this is the best stress test we could hope for at the halfway point.

Whatever happens VK will gain an immeasurable amount of knowledge about what needs to be done in the next 2 transfer windows

The most important thing this evening is to get through without anyone getting injured as upcoming league fixtures are more important. The second most important thing is to give a really good account of ourselves whatever the result.

Evening all form a cold and wet Galway .
Look forward to seeing if we get a result today , now got a massive result today already as after months dealing with Ryan Air to try and get compo they agreed to pay out under thre EU 261 rule as over 3 hours late .
I do hate that company evem thou i fly with them but €500 pay out brings a smile to my face .

He's only very small so must be some prospect to get on the bench tonight. Central midfield I think .

Agreed Tribes, terrible company to deal with, we keep coming back cos they’re cheap, but when it comes to refunds you need to be prepared, like you, to fight them and wait a very long time. UTC.

If we do lose hope it's not a mauling. Injury free is vital.

It’s a shame AZ isn’t available as I’m sure he would love to play tonight. Same with Tella.

Jay has a good record at old trafford so can only think he's still not 100percent. That being said United's back 4 look weak and if Barnes is still on a bit of form he could cause them problems.

If we play our usual game (which I suspect), it will be a real test for us. Any loss of possession will be far more lethal than in the Championship.

But, hey ho, we've got nothing to lose, only knowledge to gain on how far we are now - UTC

Just watching Sky ,who are Utd playing tonight ,chuffing Glaziers ,wonder if they’ll ask Sean about the way we are playing,or will it all be about Gary Corbyn Neville spouting his usual ( I’m always right) opinion.
I talked to Gary Neville on the train. Being from Bury, he has a lot of respect for Burnley. He'd really like us to go up.
