Tickets via the Burnley app

Post by Burnley123 » Mon Dec 26, 2022 12:32 pm

I can’t make the game tomorrow due to being away. I forgot to give my season ticket to my friend and was wondering if there any where on the app where I could scan/ transfer my ticket?

Or has any one tried sending a picture of the season ticket and scanning the picture at the turnstile to get in?

Any help/ advice is appreciated as I don’t want the ticket going to waste.

Email the ticket office & they may print a paper ticket if you explain. Probably be nobody there until the morning though

I guess not “legal’ but I did see a guy in front of me last match using his phone which looked like a photo and it worked/let him in…….it is a barcode and the actual card itself doesn’t contain any info so………

Not sure tho….

You could previously view your ST QR code on the ticket section of the app but it’s now asking to confirm email but like a lot of things club tech related doesn’t appear to be working correctly

I've screenshot tickets bought online to my son and he's got in using them. There's also a ticket wallet in the Burnley app that apparently shows your ST details 3 hours before kick off but I've never used it.

I remember for their 'members' seats and boxes, they would resale and give the member the next price down as compensation and keep the difference.

A sell-out at Turf Moor would benefit from such a system.

So if you forgot your season card you could use the app to enter the stadium?
