Parking tonight
Usually park Leyland Road area which has some restrictions on a Tuesday evening .Wonder if there'll be parking wardens out at 8.00 pm on a bank holiday to 'police' this.

Re: Parking tonight
I've fallen foul of that one, I wont be risking parking on a single line anywhere tonight.

If there’s money to be made, absolutely they will be out.AmbleClaret wrote: ↑Tue Dec 27, 2022 8:43 amUsually park Leyland Road area which has some restrictions on a Tuesday evening .Wonder if there'll be parking wardens out at 8.00 pm on a bank holiday to 'police' this.

Re: Parking tonight
All the normal car parks in town will be free as today is a bank holiday. I usually just park old Thompson Centre or that small car park opposite police station.

Re: Parking tonight
Single yellows are fine, you just have to check the plate for the times.
Re: Parking tonight
There are tickets on cars almost every game on the streets behind the Park View. Usually for parking across the dropped kerbs I think, which is ridiculous because the state of the roads and pavements around there make it almost impossible to tell they're dropped in the first place. Obviously made worse when its dark.

Re: Parking tonight
As has been said, restrictions on Tuesdays. Don't rely on it being a Bank Holiday unless it says so on the plaque.Acting Claret wrote: ↑Tue Dec 27, 2022 11:08 amSingle yellows are fine, you just have to check the plate for the times.
Re: Parking tonight
Surely dropped curbs are to assist users of wheel chairs/mobility scooters? Nothing ridiculous about it.RMutt wrote: ↑Tue Dec 27, 2022 11:20 amThere are tickets on cars almost every game on the streets behind the Park View. Re: Parking tonight
Unscrupulous money making scheme, not enforced at any other time, other than when there’s a game on.
