If there’s a recall clause how fast do we activate it in January? Would save the Gyokeres fee and also let him go to a big club in summer if he performs now he’s played in the World Cup.

I would prefer to get some money for selling Weghorst and put it towards buying Gyokeres

Not at all. I am suggesting that signing Gyokeres would be a better option now and for next year onwards

Just jesting mate, I'm buzzing after tonight. Please don't take my comment too seriously.

Problem is here, that there’s no recall clause (or we don’t want to recall him because his wages are too much) and Besiktas can’t afford the fee they agreed. So he’ll be coming back but in summer.

No ifs no buts best let him go to another club on the continent for a fee.

He won't want to move if we go back up. Will be hoping to play in the Premier again.

Gotta say if he wasn’t our player but we were linked with him I would be delighted as I think he was the ideal player for our current system. If there is a recall option I’d be happy if he was the only incoming this window.

Imagine if you were the rest of the squad though. A player who said he wouldn't play in the championship with Burnley, waltzes back into the fray along with his massive ego. I'd rather keep things as they are rather than rock the boat.

But what he said was he wanted to play top league football to realise his dream of playing for the Netherlands. Not sure that makes him a bad apple. However those making the decisions know him better thankfully.

No chance Weghorst pulls on our shirt again.

I'd be concerned the risk outweighs the potential reward.

He’s a big bad apple ,& can’t jump,his attitude stinks,some of the young players might go into their shells if he started having a rant at them,leave well alone,I’d rather give him away than risk him upsetting the Apple cart.

I’d sell him as he seems to be at the centre of any controversy on a regular basis. We can do without anybody rocking the boat now.
