Muric - 6 great distribution just wish he could catch the ball easier. He’s young. He will improve.
Roberts - 9 MOTM non stop running up and down that wing. Vitinho won’t be back in when fit way he’s playing.
THB - 7 solid
Beyer - 7 solid
Maatsen - 7
Cork - 8 great player in this system
Cullen 7 keeps us ticking over
Brownhill - 7 great assist
Benson - 7 quieter game but vital to Roberts contribution
Zaroury - 7 quiet game apart from early goal which gives him an extra point.
Jay - 6 Tin hat on now but I think he’s the weakest player in this team.

I Thought the midfield three were magnificent tonight. Nullified their main threats of Chong, Hannibal and Bacuna, and each put in a massive shift and won so many tackles and second balls, this is where the game was won. I've never seen Cullen make so many forward runs!

Muric 7
Roberts 8
Harwood-Bellis 8
Beyer 8
Maatsen 7
Cullen 8
Cork 8
Benson 7
Brownhill 8
Zaroury 7
Rodriguez 7

Tella 7

For the third game running at home, the away team looked absolutely knackered with ten minutes left, energy totally spent from chasing the ball for 80 mins :)

Agree with Jay. Seems really out of sorts. Is he unfit, have his legs gone or is it something it else?

Created the space for Zaroury's goal, and made a nice back heel attempt on goal. Seemed to be dropping back quite far.

Muric 8 his distribution was phenomenal tonight in those conditions. His passing was truer than usual and he kept the ball moving. Yes h should just catch the high ball dropping on him unchallenged, but that's not how keepers are coached these days.

Roberts 9 his best game for us by Miles. A goal, an assist and so close to a 2nd goal. The link play down that right hand side was superb and defensively he did his job well. No world cup hanging over him hopefully gives him a bit more freedom in his own mind to have his head right on the game.

Harwood-Bellis 8 stood up to the aerial shiz well

Bayer 8 and so did he.

Maatsen 7 another sound performance, links well with Zaroury

Cork 8 dominant and the cruyff turn on the edge of his own box to bamboozle the pound shop Guendouzi was *chef's kiss*

Cullen 8 everywhere again and his use of the ball in tight areas was up there with David Jones

Brownhill 7 lovely assist and kept our tempo high with his pressing and ratting

Benson 7 linked really well with Roberts. His own end product was a bit lacking but only by comparison to recent games.

Zaroury 8 a beauty of a first time finish and he looked happy to be back with us. Banana ball across just before he departed was lush.

Rodriguez 8 think he'll be underappreciated by a lot tonight but he was a vital cog in how we played, dropping deep and letting the quicks run off him.

Tella 7 he was going to get that ball through to him at some point so props to him for keep hanging on the shoulder. Lovely ball from Chaz as well.

This was a canter after 50 seconds. Brum offered absolutely nothing but we didn't let them have anything either. They didnt even manage to park th bus because we moved them and the ball around so quickly and with purpose. Cracking performance to end the year at home.

Muric 8 outstanding distribution and his catching was good in the conditions
Roberts 9 his best game under VK
THB 7 another mature performance
Beyer 7 same as TBH
Maatsen 7 always available
Cork 8 class everywhere
Cullen 7 a usual top performance
Brownhill 7 always involved
Benson 8 getting better every game
Zaroury 7 such talent so young

Tella 7 he has a wonderful skill for scoring goals

We are becoming a very good team, to such an extent that 3-0 wins are becoming the norm. There will be games when we don’t do this: VK will keep them on the right track.

Muric 8 horrendous conditions and caught the ball really well especially in the second half. TBH I'm getting a bit p1ssed off with moaners who want a scapegoat, clean sheet again but focus on one ball he punched, check the replay the ball was spinning like a top he made correct decision.

Roberts 10 MOM great goal,great assist,top game.
THB 9 won his duels with a thug of a forward
Beyer 8 see THB
Maatsen 8

Cork 9 oozes class
Cullen 8 should have scored
Brownhill 8

Benson 8 targeted by thuggish players
Zaroury 7 see Benson.
Rodriguez 6 needs dropping to bench, not happening for him just now.

Tella 8 lovely goal
Taylor 8 brilliant ball to Tella.

Have an anti- depressant….. you’ll feel better!

Muric 5 just confuses me.
I thought this was a very dominant performance against a side set up to frustrate & foul.. we’re going up as Champions!
Enjoy it.

From TV

Muric 8. Some of the low scores are ridiculous. Mis-timed one punch but also caught a lot of crosses in very difficult conditions. His movement and positioning also is key to making it so much easier for our 2 centre halves and Cork in particular to retain possession when put under pressure with their backs to goal.

Roberts 9. Best game for us. Goal, Assist, can’t remember him giving the ball away at all.

Harwood Bellis 8. Dealt with their physicality easily

Beyer 8. So calm and composed

Maatsan 7. Not as adventurous but improving all the time as a defender.

Cork 8. Just class at this level

Cullen 8. Everywhere.

Brownhill 7.

Zaroury 8 (+1 for goal). Quiet spells after that quality finish, but a lot went down our right and he made the pitch seem bigger by hugging the touch line.

Benson 7. Always a threat but end product not as good tonight.

Rodriguez 8. Vital to the way this team plays. Some great touches to retain possession and bring our other attacking players and midfielders into the game in the opposition half of the pitch and clever movement to open up space.

Just a Very good team performance like a well oiled machine. I think judging by some of the comments on Muric and JRod some people don’t’get’ that. Just because the centre forward doesn’t score doesn’t mean he’s ‘off it’. This team wouldn’t work the same with a Gray type forward (or Tella playing down the middle).

Not the perfect performance, but about as close as you are going to get in the championship

Birmingham are a decent side, with a very good defence and an excellent work ethic, and they didn't even get close to scoring or stopping us

We will have bumps in the road, but if we play remotely like this for our remaining games then we are going to up, and almost certainly as champions

Surprised people are giving "6" tbh, everyone was either good, really good or bloody good

Muric 8 - impeccable distribution
Roberts 9* - best he's played for us
THB 8 - stood up well
Beyer 8 - stood up well
Maatsen 7 - good
Cork 9 - I just wish he was 10 years younger
Cullen 9 - that quick pass and movement to receive the next one is right up there
Brownhill 8 - we've the best three CMs in the division and it really showed tonight
Zaroury 8 - welcome back Anas!
Jay 8 - linked up play really well and some of his stuff with lay offs and flicks was outstanding
Benson 7 - good, but not as good as he has been

JBG 7
Barnes 7
Tella 8 - hope he stays

You got the feeling that there are more gears in this team as well, which is remarkable considering how well we played

Muric…..4 I’ve seen the love in for his distribution, meh!! But he is an awful keeper. Their second long throw was picked by air traffic control, landed in the middle of our goal on the 6yd line and he never left his line, the cross that pea rolled in along the goalline he fumbled away and the ball he punched away, unchallenged, as it came down with snow on it was unbelievable.
Roberts…9 MoM. Best performance in a Clarets shirt and a super goal.
THB……..8
Beyer……7
Maatsen.7
Benson….8
Cork……..8
Cullen…..7
Brownhill.7
Zaroury….7
JRod………6

Tella………7

Muric - 8 - So many of our moves begin with a Muric pass and nine times out of ten he makes the right decision, usually under pressure, and takes out three or four opposition players. Just count how many times Cork, Brownhill, Cullen and even Rodriguez recieve the ball in or around the centre circle from Muric. They turn and it's suddenly five versus four in our favour.

Roberts - 9 - Played with swagger and snarl.

Harwood-Bellis - 8 - Solid, composed, strolled through the game.

Beyer - 8 - As did Beyer. A really convincing duo.

Maatsen - 8 - Not tested defensively, brought the ball out very well with great pace.

Cork - 9 - I spend some time just watching him and him alone. He's a sumptuous footballer. Metronomic. Did the dirty stuff too when Birmingham tried it on.

Cullen - 8 - His passing is just lovely, constantly keeps us ticking and is always showing for the ball. Was able to break forward more than in other games too.

Brownhill - 7 - Consistent, rattling, good passing.

Zaroury - 8 - Troubles defenders to just silly, dangerous levels. Potential is through the roof.

Benson - 9 - Silky, jinky, tricky, as per.

Rodriguez - 7 - Occupies space so others can bombard. A bit like Kane at Spurs.
