They won’t be playing Chesterfield for a while if they keep this up.
Re: Today's footie 2/1
QPR turning up .
Re: Today's footie 2/1
I thought it was a sending off if the keeper handled outside his area ?

Re: Today's footie 2/1
Blades have the same winning mentality as us so very likely they will turn this around in the second half.
Expect both teams to be going for it hammer and tongs in the second half of the season

Tbh, I'm hoping for a draw. That way, SheffU drop 2 points on us but gain a point on the B4stards. That, cto me, is a win-win.

Thought Sharpe would have scored then.

Re: Today's footie 2/1
If, somehow, Sheff contrive to not go up (and we do), we should be breaking the bank to try and sign N’Diaye. Some player. Saying that, he probably has half the Prem on alert already.
Re: Today's footie 2/1
To be fair Lyndon Dykes has turned in a terrific centre forward performance tonight for QPR

We can’t be breaking the bank for any player. We have to do it right. Pace and VK both believe they can mastermind a small club to be competitive in the premier league without going into uncontrollable debt.

Super defence from QPR. 90 seconds just passing around at the back from Blades and then they kick it out.

Re: Today's footie 2/1
I agree, was merely using the well worn phrase. I mean to ‘Break the bank’ by our own relatively meagre means. No idea what he’d cost or what his contractual status is though. In any case, Blades will come up in my opinion!Darnhill Claret wrote: ↑Mon Jan 02, 2023 9:46 pmWe can’t be breaking the bank for any player. We have to do it right. Re: Today's footie 2/1
Jimmy Dunne has twice cleared the ball and followed through onto opponents studs. Colin is saying it’s a nothing, idiot.
A)it effing hurts.
B) the ball was long gone.
Bookings for both for me.

So close, but would have been well happy with a draw before the game.

Re: Today's footie 2/1
That’s why they’re in the top two along with ourselves - neither of us know when we've lost.
We’ve got a 5 point gap and better GD though, which when you look at how little we lose is quite a large amount.

5 minutes added time, equalise in the 6th.
Still two points dropped.
Still two points dropped.
Re: Today's footie 2/1
Would have snapped your hand off for a 5 point lead and those two results at the start of the day
