Team news, Zaroury, Tella and Jay in for Benson, Barnes and Churlinov.

Love that line up.

Full pelt. That's our strongest line up on the understanding that Benson gets at least 30 mins from the bench.

Same team, with the exception of Vitinho, that destroyed them at the Turf.
Benson been playing very well but today we get the freshness of Tella - not bad.

Really strong line-up although Benson can consider himself unfortunate

He's been taped up and looking like he was carrying an injury for a few games now IMO, surprised he was starting every game given how many wingers we have. Glad he's getting something of a breather.

Don’t think it’s a question of being unfortunate, the front 3 are picked from Guddy ,Benson ,Tella,Barnes ,Rodriguez,& Zaroury ,it’s just a question of rotation, thing we haven’t been used to up until this season.

Yes rotation obviously although we don't usually play a front 3. Strong squad.

The tape he has been wearing is not for an injury, some footballers wear the tape, not a medical person here, but it helps keep muscles in place I believe. It is more for comfort/superstition I believe rather than an injury.

Do you think having Benson waiting in the wings almost guarantees a goal when he comes on?
He'd be my first name on the team sheet personally but what a player to bring on.

Wasn't aware he's carrying an injury. If that's the case I'm surprised he's on the bench.

I think Bastien is preferred to Darko on the bench in case one of our midfield trio run out of steam after 3 games in a week.

Tella starts. Perhaps Nathan Jones is listening to the clear message from Soton fans. I don't think his appointment was met with much enthusiasm so he would be wise to keep them onside

No! but it's a nice option to have later in the game.

It doesn't guarantee a goal, but if we had to get the ball to somebody if we needed a goal he would be the first one I'd pick.

No injury issue for Darko, just not selected today
I think someone else called it right, having Bastien on the bench as an extra midfielder, given the back to back fixtures

Benson can only be out through squad rotation. It has been working well. They all seem fresh up front.
COYC.

Tough game today. 2 away games in 4 days compared to them having 2 home games in 4 days might play a part recovery wise. Fingers crossed we can maintain our high levels this afternoon! COME ON BURNLEY!!
