Seems teams are picking up on our game plan and finding a way to be competitive. Good to see us grinding out wins

Tough game today, Swansea no fools.
Two wins that have seen our play suffer, but shown our mentality and inner strength.

Theyre bound to. Doesn't seem to be affecting us though.

Two different tests this week and we’ve answered them. Swansea were good in parts, particularly first half. But we got a grip second half so credit to Kompany at half time.

That’s what makes champions. Two moments of real quality to win the game. Jay should have scored

Entertaining game this, Russel Martin’s plan was very good first half.
Second half: all credit to our management team, we took the steam out of them and (bar 1 chance) gave them nothing

Remarkable. This team plays sumptuous football and grinds out ugly wins.

Our game management has improved leaps and bounds since earlier in the season when we kept throwing leads away. Swansea looked devoid of ideas for the whole second half except for one half chance they had at the end. If anything, we could and should have added a third through Jay.
Come on QPR!!

That wasn’t so much a ground out win. Yes we ended up 2-1 up after playing shite first half. But on balance after the second half we still deserved the win. Brownhill missed two huge chances and jay missed a sitter. Swansea didn’t create any chances as good as those 3.

Game management in the second half was superb.Kompany has done a cracking job since the Sheff Utd game.We don’t get bullied anymore.UTC.

Sometimes you just have to find a way to win, and we're now doing that either by out playing opponents, or as in the last 2 games digging out hard fought victories.

A different Ref and that could have been 9 v 9 ... Attrocious Refereeing

Deserved the win today. Managed the game really well. Brilliant six points from the last two games.

There was barely a bad tackle in it and definitely nothing dangerous. It was a combative game with both sides pressing the ball hard which led to a lot of 50/50 tackles. Atrocious would be the kind of ref who lets a game like that either shut down completely or end up 9 v 9.
I really enjoyed the game today and part of it was that both teams were allowed to go full throttle at it for 90+ mins. Somewhat funny to hear the boomer generation constantly moaning about modern players being soft and waxing lyrical on how wonderful the game was in their day when the fullback kicked the winger into the stands to suddenly start moaning when a ref lets stuff go and fear for the players safety.
I could understand if the ref was inconsistent with it but whilst he made a few mistakes (what refs dont) I thought he was consistent on what he allowed to go and when he stepped and stopped the and disciplined players.
Great game of football and the way we managed to control Swansea's threat in the second half was yet another string to add to this wonderful teams bow

We are now able to win games without dominating. This is vital, as we are not going to dominate every game. We now need the brake. Coventry is our next league game who have won 1 from the last 6

Yes 6. The other win was Crawley in the Cup. Didn't notice as I was counting wins since Sheffield U!

Probably a family member who pinched his ID, as the IQ level of his post is far to high for DA .

We have to rememember DA is an infrequent poster ... Lets face facts ... as everyone knows access to Nursies Laptop on the Ward is not allowed by inmates. So he has to wait till she nips out for a fag or a coffee.

Second game in a row where the opposition have targeted our flair players and tried to kick us off the pitch.
Delighted we've seen off both these attempts.

We've won 10 out of 11 league games with an aggregate score of 27-12.
6 of those games have been played against teams currently in the top 10.
It's a remarkable run.

Jbg for Tella and Benson for Varoury helped our fullbacks out and suppressed their threat in the second half . Good game management and good free beers in Cardiff off some blues fans - they hate/dislike the jacks as much as we dislike rovers !!
