After spending last night searching the internet looking for a summer holiday in this country, it appears that we're spoilt for choice. I've narrowed my search down to :-
North East
South Wales
Dorset
Devon
Cornwall
Norfolk
Lincolnshire
Can anyone recommend a holiday park (lodge or caravan) for a family holiday with teenagers?

If you are prepared to consider Norfolk then you should also consider Suffolk. The Heritage Coast is stunning.

North East England is a beautiful and unspoilt part of the country but then again I'm biased as my wife is from there.

I hear Barley is nice in Summer.

Me and the missus have stayed at haven in Eyemouth a few times! Beautiful setting and near enough to walk into town for a pint

Yes North East England is nice and a pleasant drive, relatively uncongested, try Bamburgh with its castle, Seahouses and Alnmouth.

Challabrough bay in Devon near Plymouth is a lovely place to go, and unlike most caravan parks is for more grown up kids.

South West Scotland is often by passed. Stunning coast line and fantastic hills/forestry for walking /mountain biking etc.

I live up here and there are plenty of holiday parks and loads to do.

GB is fantastic for holidays.

It just comes down to best weather (that's hard to predict now)
Travel time (Cornwall 10hrs e.w)
What sort of holiday park the kids would want.

There's some fine beaches in the areas mentioned.

Newquay s hard to beat as a base, as is Harlich in North Wales. From each you can get around to beautiful scenery, beaches, pubs and restaurants, and family activities.

It depends how old the teenagers are, but the above should cover the teen-year-span

If you go to Harlech, and you are not a member of English Heritage, then join for a year as it will be cheaper than paying for a family ticket at Harlech, Canarerfon, Conwy, Beaumaris etc etc

Try Kiln Park in Tenby.

Not my bag personally but everyone I know that's been there has loved it.

Welsh coast is beautiful - especially the end closest to us! Only a hop over to Snowdonia too where there's plenty to do.

we have used John Fowler Holidays in Devon and Cornwall Staying at their Polperro Park in a Static Caravan up on the headland. Great location with a wonderful walk along the Coastal path down into Polperro or the other way to Talland Bay. Also stayed at their St Ives Holiday park in one of the Lodges.

Pembrokeshire coast is fantastic as well, but again, depends on what your kids are in to

Great beaches for body boarding, with no one on them, great walks, pretty good for cycling, nice trips to see Dolphins etc

Beachside Holiday Park in Hayle, near St Ives

The chalets are a bit basic (but cheap) but they do lodges, it is literally beside the beach, if you get the weather its unbeatable

The Lake district,unbeatable, bring a camera.

If you opt for Norfolk, Kelling Heath Holiday Park in Holt near Sheringham is very nice. Caravans and lodges in a lovely woodland setting. Indoor and outdoor pool on site plus facilities but it's not chavvy like some holiday parks can be.

North Cornwall, Mawgan Porth. We stay at Sun Haven Holiday Park in a mobile home thingy. Easy walk to the beach where there is a Pub and a couple of bar/restaurants. Also a chippy. Beach is great for surfing and is dog friendly all year round. And not far from Padstow to the north and Newquay to the south.

The coast between Berwick and Ashington is beautiful

A lot of my friends from when I lived in South Lincolnshire swear by this place and go every year.

The Tenby area has loads to do and plenty of holiday lodges etc. plus it’s a beautiful area

We visited Kiln Park for a summer break twice in 2020/2021.

It's a great park overall, in a lovely part of the world. Tenby is a great little town, with plenty of places to eat... a fantastic beach, plenty of places to visit... the works.

The park itself has a lot going on. It's a Haven, so there are plenty of organised activities, and the usual "Brewers Fayre/cabaret" thing in the centre, plus a large pool. (I nearly typed poo... and that's exactly what the pool DID have one day when we were there.)

Whether it fits teenagers depends on your lifestyle/outlook... but our younger kids (8/11ish those 2 years) had a great time. The park sits on a 5 minute sandy path to the beach, and when the North Atlantic is lively, the bodyboarding is brilliant. And a 10 minute drive up the coast you have Manorbier, which is one of the most stunning natural beaches, with ridiculous surf, that I have ever seen.

Our only complaint in the second year was that our accommodation was a much lower standard than the (upgraded) caravan we were given in the first year.

Book early and get a cheap flight abroad. Never been more important for people to broaden your horizons!

I'll second that until last April I'd only ever seen it from the road to/from the ferry, but I've been back twice more. It would depend on what the OP's kids are into, I don't recall seeing much in the way of nightclubs and trendy boozers.

Definitely not much of those around. But plenty going on in terms of events/festivals/food festivals etc.

Holidays in the UK are becoming ridiculously expensive, almost extortionate.
Much better to head off abroad. We did Tenerife the week before Christmas, the 17 th to the 24th, half board in a class hotel in the North for £700 each.

Don't get me wrong, I love Devon and Cornwall, ,walking in Derbyshire and Wales but given the choice it has to be somewhere different for me. Not many Brits being about helps too.

Quite possibly because there is accommodation in abundance and it's where they are sent after being released. No shock that Skegness has a lot of released offenders as well.

I doubt either resort is full of locally born offenders.

Not meant as a criticism of your post, probably didn't word it correctly. I just feel there are places that have been 'selected' as a dumping ground for whatever reason.

Hire a caravan and park it on Enfield cricket club at the top of Dill Hall Lane in Clayton.

You can spend a few weeks there in the summer free of charge and there will be cricket on there every day in some shape or form.

Since the retirement of the most boring opening batsman ever to be associated with Lancashire League cricket (he hung up his pads at Enfield thank goodness) it has become an attractive place to watch our favourite summer sport.

I might even pop along and buy you a pint.

We did a week at lizard point caravan park (Park dean) last August.
Some of the beaches around there are fantastic.
Kynance cove, although busy is the best beach I've been to in the UK.

Cofton Holidays Dawlish, Great holiday park and a good base to explore further afield.

The majority of sex offenders, especially the cleverest and most sophisticated are neither caught or convicted.
The ones you refer to are hence the least dangerous of those around. They are, in the main, known and supervised/monitored.

I agree. It started in the 1980s when the UK holiday industry near enough collapsed. Former holiday accommodation being turned into bail hostels and multiple occupancy accommodations for problem tenants. Blackpool is a dumping ground for the rest of the UK.
