BPF 7 - distribution isn’t at Muric’s levels but made a fine save 1 on 1
Roberts 7 - another solid showing to add to the list
THB 7 - let’s hope the injury isn’t serious
Beyer 8 - quality again in generally, got caught out for their 2nd though I think
Taylor 7 - did well, some good bursts forward
Cullen 8 - shame about the error for the first, thought he was everywhere today and ran the midfield
Brownhill 8 - two lovely assists
Benson 9 - two clinical goals and offered a constant threat
JBG 8 - very effective, held the ball well and fine assist
Zaroury 9 - see Benson
Barnes 9* - linked play really well, cleared one off the line and sublime assist for our 4th

Tella 6 - fell over a bit
Cork 7 - helped us manage the game
McNally 7 - first proper game of the season, and although you could tell at times, he should be very happy with how he adapted

Only managed to catch the second half so no ratings from me. But i thought I would just say, Barnes and Taylor were superb. McNally started the half tentative and wayward but grew into it and his leaps for headers and the covering run and tackle were superb

Roberts - 8 if he keeps playing like this it will be difficult for Vitinho to get back in.

Beyer- 8 really hope we do have that option to buy
Taylor - 8 funnily I felt he grew back into that left back role
Cullen - 8 even with the cock up
Brownie- 8 on another thread this week, somebody claimed he was not PL quality. I disagree
JGB - 8 quality. If he hadn’t lost that yard of pace he would be a top top player.
Benson 8 - defenders just can’t handle him
Zaroury 8 - love this guy
Barnes 9 - same as Jay, not scoring doesn’t mean that you are integral to why we win.

McNally - 8. Clearly nervous in the first half. But showed in the second why we paid £2 mill for him. He’ll be plenty good enough if THB is out for a while.

As an aside I though Solanke was their best player and would be a good replacement for Jay or Barnes in this team.

Zaroury 9 so much flair. Best game since World Cup back to his best twisting defenders inside out.
Barnes 9 best game from a striker of ours this season imo. Big shout but I love the dropping in and link up play with our wingers bombing on. We look like Liverpool with mane and salah.

McNally 8 great second half after a shaky first few minutes before the half time break.
