I cannot stand the man. "Burnley have 2 very exciting wide men but there wasn't a lot of quality in the game today. I'm convinced that Burnley have enough to get them into the Premier League".
Not a lot of quality!

Only scored 4 against a team the league above, must try harder.

Not sure why they get people like him to watch our games. Alan McInally is far far better when he covers our games.

Calling Bournemouth a Championship side and going down. Really would stick in his throat to give us the well deserved credit. Horrible man

Before the game started he was slagging off Nathan Jones saying that he had probably lied to the Southampton Board to get the manager’s job telling them that he could keep the club in the PL without spending any money.
He then added “We’ve all done it”.
The worst of the pundits by some way.

Arrogant obnoxious idiot.
He’s useless at football management and useless at punditry.
Can’t stand the bloke.

He spent one whole part of his comms fuming at Gary O’Neil using an iPad on the bench. Dinosaur.

Sherwood is another failed manager content to take the easy route of punditry, must be the easiest gig in the world being paid a fortune to spout nonsense.
How come every time we play well and win handsomely the opposition are labelled as poor, just maybe we made Bournemouth look poor yesterday.

It's got to be a deliberate ploy by Sky to employ these dunderheads.
Just look at the lineup: Sherwood, Morrison, Merson. These are some of the thickest in the world of football and it's not a business renowned for intellectual prowess. You couldn't amass those three morons by pure coincidence.
In defence of Tim Sherwood though, he did once say something intelligent: He admitted he had been exposed as a manager who was tactically naive and not very good at his job.

When I briefly switched over to Sky after the match, they were stating that Zaroury had scored a hat trick!.

I watched Match of the Day this morning. Danny Murphy was very complimentary about us and our style of play. I’ve seen enough of Burnley this season to know who is the better pundit. I think Danny Murphy went straight into the media and the amount of airtime he gets suggests he knows his stuff. Tim Sherwood, failed manager now jumping on to the sky tv gravy train. Maybe the fact chairman aren’t queuing up to employ him says something.

They mentioned it at least twice, even whilst the score and scorers were in the bottom-right of the screen.

You would think it was the first time he has seen a football match. Commentating on Radio Lancashire would be a step too far for him, yet he lands a gig at Sky. Jobs for the boys, even the thick ones.

He last managed in 2015 at Villa which tells you everything you need to know.

Worth noting: He was influential in relegating Swindon afterwards, though from a position of "director of football", as the club were directed downwards.

I wish I could offer a contrary viewpoint but he was shocking yesterday. Clearly had done no homework, offered no analysis, was dour, could barely talk and didn’t do a great job of hiding his misery at us doing well.

The lack of homework is due to the arrogance. He doesn't for a minute think he needs to do any because he thinks he knows it all already. The fact that he's been an abject failure as a manager doesn't seem to even put a dent in his opinion of himself. All the hallmarks of a narcisist.

Dreadful 'personality' and I second the above that he must be in competition with Sutton as to who can offer the most sour, ungracious, and ignorant takes.
It's a real shame he's got that platform on Sky these days. I used to watch Soccer Saturday when it started at 12 through to around 6 when I was young and it was brilliant. Shite these days.

I have sent in a complaint to Sky about his clear biased views and hatred of all things Burnley, it was so bad I switched over to the BBC. I would suggest others who witnessed his behaviour also make their comments known to Sky.

At least Sutton is semi humerous when he gets prickly and agitated and I’m sure he plays on it a bit. Nothing funny at all about Sherwood. Good point above about him being too arrogant to do his homework. He talked complete rubbish in his brief attempt in management.

There’s something about these media outlets that encourage them to employ ex footballers who are blatantly bias towards their previous clubs . It must work for them in viewers figures.
The only answer for the public is to wind their car windows down and flob on them. Either literally or metaphorically

Yeah I actually don’t mind Sutton. He plays up to the panto villain role and he at least sounds like he’s done basic prep about the games he’s watching.

Owing to the pressure on all media outlets to show and add diversity Sky could no longer justify continuing with a group of 6 all white middle-aged men Jeff Stelling, Paul Merson, Matt Le Tissier, Phil Thompson, Charlie Nicholas and Alan McInally taking it in turns to host and present Soccer Saturday as they had done for many years. In August 2020 they retained Jeff Stelling and Paul Merson whilst adding to the mix Clinton Morrison, Sue Smith and others such as Dion Dublin, Tim Sherwood etc. I do not enjoy the coverage as I used to but that is the case with many things today.

Agreed - there are some very poor summarisers on Sky. Compare and contrast with Nedum Onuoha who seems to be getting more air time on the Beeb (on MOTD now).

No doubt about it Kenton. I can see why they were under pressure to change even though I don't agree with it. I actually don't mind Sue Smith, she is knowledgeable and can string a sentence together which is surely a must you would think. But Clinton Morrison, Sherwood and Jamie Mackie just struggle to communicate. Really poor.

Also overheard in a Blackburn boutique as an irate Mr Sherwood questioned the delay on some alterations to an item of clothing he had ordered.
“Do you not know who I am?” he uttered to the bemused assistant who was none the wiser for him using these words.
