Proper fans!.
Could do with Everton, Chelsea and a few more putting that picture in their programme to maybe stop them moaning so much.

Some of ours would do well to look at it as well, some claim we could get much bigger crowds if we had seats with a better view in the Longside upper :D

I can remember standing and shivering watching the Workington “Reds” on a number of occasions in the 1950s. In those days Workington was in the 3rd division North and then the 4th division. The club doesn’t have many claims to fame but was once managed by Bill Shankly. They also beat Blackburn Rovers in 1964 in a league cup replay 5-1.

There's a similar picture somewhere of a fan on the Bee Hole during a snow storm. Think it may have been Exeter at home in the mid 80s. It may also have been the day that the pies were still frozen at half time.

This photo alone is a strong argument for bringing the 2 ends of the football pyramid closer together. Id love more games against clubs like this

I'm ashamed to say that I will have lived within twelve miles of Workington for forty years in May this year, and I've still never been to a match at Borough Park.

You need to get a move on if these plans come off.
