Black pudding in Burnley

A few of us Clarets are travelling up from Devon this weekend and I was wondering if there is anywhere we could get some black pudding similar to the ones that Donald Smith used to sell on the market ?

I'll be popping in. They stock Browns of Chorley haggis. I'll also give their sausage a try. Decent sausage, always the mark of a good butcher.

That’s perfect thanks …I used to live on Brunshaw Rd and always got meat from George but didn’t know he did these now…cheers all …UTC

claretbonkers, how many of you are coming up. I’m going to ask a favour for you and see if I can get you hot George’s Black puddings from someone whose shop business is very close to his Butchers. You could then eat them hot on the premises. Maybe get a brew as well. Just pay for puddings.

I can’t understand why anybody would move from Brunshaw Road to Devon
