Sheff Utd are the best team in the league and but for their bad luck with injuries I think they'd be top. I think we're not far behind though and think we have a real chance of piping them to the post to win the league.

I think that as we’re beyond the half way point and we’re 5 points clear, you’re talking unadulterated horse ****. Not unusual for you, but given the facts, quite confusing.

Why did you give Barnsley the Chop? Oh, the manager’s fans.

I think they’d be averaging 3.5 points per game by now if it wasn’t for injury, no way we’d have kept pace with that.

How many of these players would be in our first eleven?

What the hell is wrong with McConnell that he's out for 2 1/2 years?
Is he in jail or something?

Awful knee issues, had to have two operations. Been out two years now, but I think they’re hopeful he can get back this season.

You’re maybe thinking of Jack Robinson.

Yep
Poor lad, that must be getting close to a "I've decided to concentrate on the next stage of my career"

Sheff Utd have been hit hard by injuries, however their first XI is still decent which is why they've managed to maintain their promotion challenge.

The Blades have hung on for several scrappy wins, factor that in with our slow start and it suggests we are a long way past them. The other thing with us is that we have played all season without a major creative threat (our shots per game is worse than some rivals), it is just that our wide players have found the net regularly, Zaroury, Benson, Tella and Brownhill don’t have a huge number of assists between them. If we had to put Twine in there or others, it may improve us rather than weaken us, who knows?
So I don’t see anyone catching us on that basis, and we have to think injuries will continue for rivals as well as for us.
I actually think the Blades may struggle to hold onto 2nd. Boro and West Brom are on a charge, Watford may come good.

The difference between us is that, whilst SheffU have recently ground out scrappy wins by the odd goal with a team of seasoned pros, the Clarets have a large squad of talented young players who are improving week by week and are now scoring for fun.
I think that we are both likely to drop points against the stronger opponents, but the style of SheffU’s play encourages other teams to adopt more attacking type of play that will inevitably reap dividends more often than our possession game.
