Re: Number of goalscorers per club
My thoughts exactly as I read the initial post!
Re: Number of goalscorers per club
It’d be interesting to see these figures in relation to how many squad players used for each team.
I also was surprised we weren’t top by the way.

First figure in column is how many managers used (I’m guessing that includes caretaker/temporary ?) second figure is how many players used. Link to page below.

Scrolling through the seasons statistics since we first got promoted, only in 2010/11 have we had more goal scorers. A list that includes Brian Easton, Andre Bikey, John Guidetti and Nathan Delfouneso. 2014/15 was notably poor and it is no wonder we were relegated.

Re: Number of goalscorers per club
There might be some signings this month that could increase our goalscorer figure but of the current squad who can realistically add to that?
Cork, Churlinov, Twine? Any others?

Re: Number of goalscorers per club
I referred to 18 in 2010/11 in a recent report, when we reached 14 I think and equalled last season.Rouwens_Weapon wrote: ↑Wed Jan 18, 2023 2:52 pmScrolling through the seasons statistics since we first got promoted, only in 2010/11 have we had more goal scorers. Re: Number of goalscorers per club
Egan-Riley or McNally from a set piece perhaps? (If they get a game of course). Think McNally nearly scored at Watfordclaretburns wrote: ↑Wed Jan 18, 2023 3:35 pmThere might be some signings this month that could increase our goalscorer figure but of the current squad who can realistically add to that?

Re: Number of goalscorers per club
Surprised we’re not top given how often it’s mentioned in interviews. Maybe it’s just because we’ve become so used to our goals coming from 4-5 players in recent seasons.
It’s nice to share the goals around, if only to make my anytime goal scorer bets more interesting!

Re: Number of goalscorers per club
The thing we have is multiple scorers of multiple goals. Normally just a couple of multiple scorers with the rest of the team chipping in with the odd one or two.
Re: Number of goalscorers per club
Jebbison scored his first for Sheff Utd so they're on 18!
If they don't go up I wouldn't mind us considering him.
