This would get you sacked at work. Why do the mods not act on things like this.
It would be interesting for JJ to post a photograph of himself so we can all see how attractive to the opposite sex he is.

nobody reported it. Moderators give up their own time, they cannot be on the boards 24/7, believe it or not each has a life way from the board.

I don't watch the "Apprentice" nowadays as I think it's run its course. It was funny a few years back but it's just boring now with the same old stunts, and I'm not referring to a Ms KB.

I think if I'd started asking people at work to provide pics of themselves to demonstrate their attractiveness I'd have been sacked pretty promptly.

Time at West Ham. The amount they have paid for ultimately unsuccessful players leaves me astonished that she is still employed. Hence my questioning how she can assess others on the Apprentice.

It just wasn't as noticable before with the other extreme now Claude littner does know his onions, it's easily picked up on when he disappears.

She doesn't do the scouting, she doesn't do the coaching, she doesn't pick the team on matchday etc.
She oversees the day to day running of the club and she's been doing this sort of thing for a long time now.
If the squad is underperforming then look at the manager first.

Correct. But she is employed as part of the governance of the organisation to make sure that those who do the scouting, those who do the coaching and those who pick the team are effective at what they do.

Successful businesswoman in her own right and has made a career in football. in an industry that was/is so predominantly male dominated. A groundbreaker.
As opposed to somebody who starts an anonymous thread on a message board and manages to even make a dogs dinner of that.

Agreed, but at this moment in time, West Ham are still in with a chance of staying up.
Moyes has been here before, he knows what's needed to get out of it.
They've signed Ings in the belief he can help drag them up the table to safety
It would appear she's doing her job effectively at present.

Thing is, what if that silent majority isn't the majority?
I don't think the people in UTC represent Burnley or even the country in general, they represent those of us who like talking online (and I assume) realise there are different rules in real life, and different rules when you are chatting with mates/family etc (maybe rules is the wrong word btw)

You seem to have got yourself a bit confused here. You said this board doesn’t represent the real world, LC agreed with this (though I suspect not in the exact way you meant it), and now you’re saying “it does”.
FWIW the “light hearted joke” was not at all funny but was very misogynistic, and I’m saying this as someone with a strong (possibly irrational) dislike of Karren Brady.

We are living in a society where I think some people want to be offended & are desperately searching for reasons to be offended, the only way of ensuring you don't offend is to never speak don't say a word but even then somebody would take offence because you was too quiet & call you a oddball for never speaking. You just can't win.
