It should be played to the Cricket field stand before every game.

Never really been one for nostalgia, but this is something else, that chant went on and on, you looked round at people after about 10 minutes, thinking it would stop and run its course, then another ten minutes, then the final whistle and still it went on.
I remember Derby fans staying and watching, exchanging scarves and applauding. Still nobody left, another 10 minutes of chanting until all the playand staff came out to a even more raucous reception, truly a wonderful day, despite the result.

The start of the long journey back to the top,had some great away days watching Jimmy Mullen and his Claret & Blue army,every bit as special as what the team are serving up this season ...thanks Jimmy

Think the appointment of Mullen in October was the turning point, essentially it was the same team, but then Conroy started scoring virtually every week and we hardly lost a game. Took 7500 to Carlisle, 5000 to York and Rochdale. Mad, mad season.

Some may point to the Orient game and the charge to Wembley the following season and even though we were going well in the league by the time this match was played, this game - for me at least - was when players, fans and manager truly bonded and things really stepped up - I think the pride engendered by the experience and the affirmation of the national media reports (Sadler's in particular) made us a truly powerful united force for a while

Watched the game on the terrace underneath where the cameras are doing this coverage. There were pockets of Clarets in there. But the Derby fans, for the most part, didn't bother much watching the game that last 15 minutes, but stood quietly watching our fans.
It was a truly awesome experience.

If we could time travel...the York & Derby games are the ones I'd choose to visit,two of the best games/atmosphere I've ever experienced

Remember this day well, mind you it was my 16th birthday, alas I couldn't go to Derby so had to make do with listening to the radio commentary.
The result was almost irrelevant as the atmosphere garnered all the publicity.
Of course we memorably returned to Derby 8 years later to knock them out at the same stage when they were a PL club.

Remember it like it was last week. Remember the Derby fans staying back to applaud our support, and got shunted on the way out of Derby, which gave me a stiff neck for a week, but I was paid a weeks salary for it even though I admitted I could work.
So not a bad day out all in all.

I didn't realise that Andy Comyn played for Derby County in that game. I know Andy and always enjoyed reminding him about the time he was left sat on his arse by John Francis in the play off win against Plymouth - another great away day.
