How good is it to see Tom Heaton who was a brilliant keeper,& ambassador for Burnley FC getting his just rewards playing in front of a big Old Trafford crowd,& possibly a Wembley final alongside Pope,& Tripps who also have been brilliant for the Clarets .

He wasn't really a brilliant 'ambassador' though, was he?

3 out of 4 Keepers in the Semi's are former Claret TopFlight - PL Keepers.

Bet that has never happened before or will again.

Pope and Heaton will potentially keep goal in the final.

Heaton really was one of the best around for a time at Burnley.

He’s probably only played about 40 games in the last six seasons unfortunately. Incredibly unlucky.

Got injured in the fourth game of the 2017/18 season and the only league games he played for us after that were the second half of the 2018/19 season. Hasn’t played in the Premier League since being stretchered off on the Turf playing for Villa.

Outstanding goalkeeper for us.

You have said it all Tony. Apart from Keith Newton I cannot think of a better "free" transfer we have signed but i may be wrong. A phenomenal keeper for us and a leader.

The good old ‘get out’ shouts that probably got heard in Bacup  unlucky to not get more of a chance for England but that’s the story of being a Burnley keeper I guess.

Did his injury restrict his International call ups? It was the reason our best ever keeper (IMO) Colin McDonald didnt have the England shirt for years

Good to see him tonight and making a decent save. Looked like he was physically showing his age, in his movement, for me.

Superb keeper and captain for us.

Physically showing his age? Two outstanding saves proved otherwise.

You don't half talk some rubbish

Hello Fidel!
I didn't say he was an old man in a wheelchair! Just not the flexible Heaton we had at Turf Moor.

I don’t think Scott Arfield & David Jones weren’t good free signings either at the same time and then there was the best of the lot for me in Martin Dobson.
