I’ve got a decent football related collection accumulated over almost fifty years of collecting but I would never buy a ‘match worn ‘ shirt .. I’ve been given a few but there is absolutely zero chance I’d pay for one for this very reason.

This is a strange one. The size of the cuffs of the shirt worn in the press photo is clear enough and, I would imagine, quite easy to calculate accurately.
I'm assuming other Scotland shirts exist from that game so, assuming they were of standard size, even less of a problem to do so.

After all the build-up it was pulled from auction at the last minute due to doubts over it's provenance.
