new rules once its been kicked by either the keeper or another player it is deemed to be playable

Zaroury has to be outside the box when it's kicked, which he is, but can run into the box to intercept once it has been kicked.

Agreed,but you don't expect such a monumental error from the keeper.

Sky Sports just done the same showing reply and nearly missed Wilsons goal for Newcastle.

I didn't think Sky gave enough credit to Zaroury. It seemed to me he anticipated Krul's pass before the goalkeeper hit it. It was a bad mistake of course.

It was the sort of error that was their downfall under Farke. Whilst it's the modern way of playing if your players aren't good enough to do it it seems stupid to try in the face of consistent failures.

Watched that again closely but the ball was still. Thankfully

Zaroury finish was good, though. That still need to beat Krul and the man on the line.

When you look at the Prem teams playing at the back, not many are very good at it!
