Allocation for Ewood

I'm a Darwen based Claret.
Yesterday I was shown a copy of a letter from a horse fiddling supporters group who have written to the club demanding they only give us the minimum allocation for the Ewood game.
They really are thick aren't they? They received the maximum allocation we could give them given our stadium size, security etc, plus it was their club who refused the reciprocal ticket prices for both games..
Given the stadium holds 30k I'd assume they're pushing for only 3000 away fans in line with the 10% rule..
Good luck with that one..I'm sure the Police won't be too happy if that was to happen..

They should all simply f*ck off out the way for the day and let us get on with it.
It's the only way they'll see that place full again this side of the next Preston Guild.

Hopefully mate but I think with all the areas they sheet off even when we've been given the whole end it would be closer to 6-6500 rather than 8000.
Unless they of course decide to push the home fans further up the Riverside and Walker stands to make a no man's land so we can have the whole stand.
That would be the sensible thing as I'm sure this game won't be a huge attraction to them.

On the basis that most of them won’t want to go anyway because they know they’ll get humped - especially if there’s a chance that we could secure promotion at their place - I think they should swap the whole thing round. I.e. they take the Darwen End and we get the rest of the ground.

7,800 or so seats on the stand, not inc corporate.
Preston recently received 7,335 tickets.

Their average home attendance this season is 13k, we could easily sell 15k for a game there if we're champions or going to confirm it there.

Why? Even when it was a bubble match in 2017 we took over 5,000 as they could fit the busses in the car park. It would make no sense to restrict us but for being total arses. You’d think we purposely restricted them to 2,275 in November and a normal allocation was a lot more.

7,000 in 2005 and the rivalry was far more raw then, we still hadn't played each other very often since the 80's, that has changed a lot since then .
There wasn't widespread disorder that day and nothing in Nov at the Turf

They really do hate us,even more so than usual at the moment and it's such a great place to live watching them suffer so close up

Can you get tickets in the home end without much bother? I'd imagine quite a few Burnley fans would try their luck if the allocation was low

We should start our opening bid with requesting the Darwen end and the Riverside (they close it half the time anyway).

Would seem odd to give us less than normal.
They should give us as many as possible.
They could use the extra cash to employ someone capable of emailing deal sheets to the EFL.

I believe the allocation is going to be 8,000, which the Blackburn board of directors are confident will be more than enough to meet demand. The other 22,000 will be given to away supporters!

My son in law and his dad who are both rovers supporters have told me i can have one of their tickets if its for the title and go with them.
It used to be like that in the late 60’s and early 70’s when you would travel to these games with opposition fans , particularly if you live in the towns between

The club were told 4.5k would be allocated, however Blackburn have since said they're now reviewing it.
Not sure if that's on police advice just incase it gets moved due to 1 clubs participation in the FA cup
( that's purely an assumption on my part, however I'm not aware if the review is to increase or decrease the initial offer of 4.5k )

Can’t wait to sit next to their directors and be fed a nice slap up 3 courses and have some beers brought over whilst we thrash em and win the league there
Best 200 notes I’ve ever spent if we win the league there.

Read what I put a few months ago about the bubble matches not being enforced anymore and most on here shot it down saying BS likewise when I said we are going to get the whole end of around 8k, this info is from a police gold match commander who's involved with the planning and running of both these Burnley Blackburn game's and not from someone at the club, shoot it down all you like but we'll soon see who's right when the info comes out, putting not true without any back up is very easy to type

Don't think there's much chance of us winning the league at Ewood.
We'd most likely have to end the game 25 points ahead of second place since our rivals would probably have 8 games left - possibly more depending on FA Cup results.
Could potentially be promoted that day though.

One of us need to make it through in the cup and get the game postponed til later in the season.
Then the puddle drinkers can watch as their dross filled 11 give our boys a guard of honour onto their pitch.
I do hope they don't boycott the game though, I do enjoy seeing the goons head to toe in Lonsdale foaming at the mouth

Luckily Rovers fans have a history of selling their STs to away fans for a pay day.
Remember Man City getting 16k in there.
