Just seen on there website they have only sold just over 500 tickets in 3 day's surely we could put them in another part of the ground so we could have all the cricket field stand and have a real atmosphere in there.

If we move all the away fans then who are you going to gesticulate and hurl abuse at for 90 minutes?

Spot on. I watched a couple of PNE vlogs and many of our lads never look at the match. Just goading across the barrier, how sad.

So, we make CFS all home (that’s if we could fill it), where do we put Fleetwood fans? JH? JM? BL? Word of caution. Fleetwood are a small club but they are the only fans that Stanley have problems with. Apparently, so I’m told, not the friendliest bunch. Besides how would we know there wouldn’t be a surge in sales?
There would be very few occasions during a season that we would completely fill the whole of the Turf with only Clarets and I don’t think the FA 4th round is one of them.

Good job it's the 5th round then!
Your point still stands though. No chance the other 3.5 stands will set out anyway.

Ipswich had over 25,000 for the first game against us and yet we sold c11,500 for the replay. Every chance the crowd for the Fleetwood match will be similar or slightly above.

Fleetwood's biggest away following this season was the 800 they took to Sheff Wed, so this looks like that will be beaten so hats off to them when the average home gate is just over 3k, cosch travel for most of them for this is only £5

We will be nowhere near a sell out, there was only 11500 on last week against Ipswich!!
Where are another 10 thousand fans gonna come from?

My guess is the gate will be around 14k, pity it isn't played on Saturday I think the gate would've been around the 17k mark

Be disappointing if we can't fill the home ends. Cheapish tickets, playing brilliant football, good chance of reaching our first quarter final for 20 years. What more do people want?

Moving the away fans causes more issues than it’s worth. I’m assuming that Fleetwood have agreed that they don’t need the full allocation as I’ve been able to get my seat in the CFS for this one. Moving them means other season ticket holders would not be able to get their seat, simply not worth it.

I'm.sure there are legitimate reasons for the 5th round of the FA Cup being staged midweek( or probably not) but can someone explain why this is happening please?

Think it was originally brought in so the Prem clubs could all have a weekend off in February. Not sure if it's happening this year with the World cup.

Ah is it now a permanent thing? I’d assumed (wrongly it seems) that it was just because of the World Cup.

If we get through and get a home tie in the quarters, I’d be amazed if that wasn’t a sell out.

I saw a seating plan on Fleetwood's site, to choose your seat, and they have got 9 blocks. There were 2 blocks left. It's gone now so It looks like there might not be many left.

Likewise. Cannot understand how we wouldn’t sell out these cup games when we’re playing so well and have the possibility of a cup run.

Sorry, thinking about it, it would have been six blocks. It did only show two blocks to pick your seat though so presumed the others had sold.

6000 points + tickets for Ipswich and Fleetwood to give you a chance of scoring a Blackburn ticket

Thanks, Commy. So the six blocks would be the usual allocation for a league game. It's embarrassing having to surrender the end to away fans. It shouldn't happen.

There were 3 home games in a week for the Ipswich game
Not everyone lives within walking distance and there is a bit of a cost issue for everyone as well
Saying that, I'd hope for a bigger gate v Fleetwood

I cannot make the game (I live 280 miles away) but you'd think it would capture the imagination of the Fylde Coast. What an opportunity.
One of Burnley or Fleetwood in a quarter final.
I hope their sales improve.

The match is being shown on the BBC Red Button and iPlayer. I've seen their coverage of an early FA Cup game and it's better then Sky Red Button in terms of cameras and reliability.

Its probably been asked before but why are all the cup games starting times staggered on Tuesday and Wednesday
19.15
19.30
19.45
19.55
Odd ... or is there a logical reason
Is it so we don't unbalance the Space/Time continuum
