Has anyone managed to speak to anyone at the ticket office today by phone? I've been trying all day but it just rings indefinitely!

No but rang last week and was eventually asked to leave my details and that someone would get back to me but still waiting for the return call.

I was in the ticket office today around 1pm and it was quite busy with the queue being to the end of the ramp outside.

There's some pretty serious issues with our ticket systems so not answering the phones or returning calls (which appears to be the norm) shows massive disdain for supporters.
It should have been sorted long ago.

I mentioned this in a post about Ipswich tickets but was shot down by someone saying they got through in a few rings maybe you could ask them and find out how they did it because everyone else seems to struggle, they might have a secret hot line number no one knows

You have to remember that this time of year is particularly busy for them. I’ve called many times in the past and always managed to speak to someone within 5 minutes. As mentioned above - email is the most likely way of getting a positive outcome.

Also, unlike the chap who turned up in the ticket office on Saturday wanting a ticket in the away end… poor planning on your part will not constitute an emergency on theirs…

I genuinely can't tell if that's sarcasm and sorry if it isn't and if not I don't find it excetable that a professional business answers its email's in days rather than minutes

Nope, no sarcasm. Just letting the OP and others on here know it might be worth sending over an email in the mean time if they don't need an urgent response.

I went to pick my Blackpool tickets up yesterday, the Ticket Office was full of old people with stupid requests, like "I want to buy a season ticket in a prime spot, why can't I ?" or "I tried to buy 2 season tickets on 1 claret number" It was like pulling teeth, shoot me if I ever get like that.

BFC Supporters Groups have in the past suggested to the Club that the phone system should at least have a queuing system message like many organisations /businesses do but nothing has come of that.

When I can't get through, I just ring the park view and request a bar fly nip over with their mobile.
Ring me up and pass the phone over to staff.
It costs me half a bitter once in a while, but it's worth it.

Welcome to the club Sam. Perhaps they can see the numbers of the callers and have the grumpy ones marked down as not to answer

What is your point? The older generation struggle with technology. Your time will come when you need assistance and I really hope someone like you is the only person to ask.
