Taylor being phased out. No surprise
He will be limited now and off in summer

Sorry. Too slow.
Just hoping this isn't our bridge too far. Two records up for grabs if I'm not mistaken : if we win we'll set a new record of eleven League wins on spin. And a single goal would see us go 28 League goals scoring in each one. Is that right?

I rate him, but it might be down to age.

Anybody know if Watford are making changes. I'm slightly concerned about fatigue

Biggest game in the history of Burnley Football Club.
Come on, let's make this happen.

Cleverley is starting his first game for them tonight since he scored against us on match day 3! He went off injured after actually scoring. Big ask for him against our midfield.

Wouldn't be surprised if he gets a call tonight from a certain manager. With the CH's we now have I think VK has been more than fair in featuring him recently

It really isn't not by a long way.
However it would be nice to break a few records during another promotion campaign.

So why is Charlie Taylor being ‘phased out’?

Tom will be kicking a few, if he can get near enough.
I’d have liked Cork to start.

Not on the same wave length as his colleagues and very ponderous on the ball-has lost his confidence

Not good enough on the ball for the way Kompany wants us to play.

I'm a big fan of his, but we really are looking high if someone like Taylor doesn't make the bench.

I think at a very early stage Pep Guardiola brought in full backs who were comfortable defending and attacking, who would create many chances and score themselves. He paid big money for high quality full backs. Think VK thinks the same, and you only have to look at Maatsens goals and assists-the same for Vitinho, and to some degree Roberts, CT has not scored for Burnley in 6 years, and whilst he did a holding role he is clearly not a CH

Taylor is too good to be squeezed out, he's a Premier League left back, worth around £10m imo.

Charlie is one of the players claretspice et al would be claiming would walk back into this side had they been transferred last summer.

Both FBs on Saturday took up some weird, for FBs position, both well in from touch and with only two behind them. Had to be under instruction and after the result it worked. Let’s see if they do it again tonight

Evening all from what has been a dry day here in Galway , hey 14c as well spring is in the air and records up for grabs .
Like every week i just feel we have way too much for anyone in this league .

I agree with Rob Earnshaw, we are too good for this league.

Good to see Ameen Al-Dakhil on the bench. I think we signed to very promising CBs in January. Of course, Jordan Beyer keeps his place. It may be a few weeks before Taylor Harwood-Bellis is back.
Three of January's four new signings on the bench and Hjalmar Ekdal starting, again. A good bit of January business.
Only 7 subs in Championship. 9 subs next season in Premier League.

Tonight will be a tough test IMO. I know they aren’t in great form but they haven’t lost many games recently. I wouldn’t be surprised if our bench is a big factor towards the end of the game tonight. Come on Burnley!!!

Watford have some serious quality in their team but incidentally their weakness is full backs, while our strength is out wide in and around full backs.

Charlie's too good to be "phased out". We've got a wealth of riches and he doesn't fit into VK's way of playing. But that doesn't mean he's not good.

Wide and fullbacks? If anything, we are stronger through the middle with the likes of Brownhill and Tella.

Joao Pedro and Sarr are PL players, 100%. I’d say Pedro is arguably the best player in the league.
Looks like Cleverley has been injured in the warm up.
