I see complacency is setting in with posters unaware of the ethereal effects of this count so i will come out of retirement and post hopefully getting the one and only Dave AKA Admiral Redbeard to join us. He was the main person on this MB to keep the count going so long which kept us in the `prem for so long
And so after the briefest of intros I say 30 carrots and 108ml of joooooooooooooooooozzzzzzzzeeeeee.
We need more assessors posting to avoid defeat today. Fewer than 20-30 and were are doomed I tell you doomed doomed.
Nice to see our feathered claret -the lighter shade of pale Green Parrot still posting on the count.

Just to say the count will be at 1pm today.

Hope today’s count keeps our unbeaten run going

Just over two hours to get about 12 more estimates

Result
Carrots 35
Water 106 ml
(Have invested in a digital measurer for any future counts).
jdrobbo and africlaret were both the closest for the number of carrots.
Oppycat was spot on for the amount of water.

Always surprised with the amounts in some tins….such trickery in this one!
I went low based on the “2 servings” statement, was expecting full ones…I love carrots but don’t think I could eat 17
Great count BigF thanks

Awww, I am really sorry tarkys_ears. I didn't see your entry as I was busy measuring etc.
I can confirm the entry was before I pressed enter with the result. I am open to comments from other entrants - we Clarets are used to last minute scores going in our favour.
Might I offer the following that all three entrants with carrot totals between 33 and 36 get points? I will await other comments and then ask Bosscat if he will update the league table.

Cheers Boss.
I would do the count but I might be away in the week.
I'll maybe do the Huddersfield one. I'll let you know later in the week.

Have consulted the adjudicators and we will accept it this time...
Point of order though ... always remember the cut off point should be set for the drainage (and drainage announced at set times there or thereabouts). Any guesstinmates after that time are not considered valid entries.
We are a club who are used to late goals as BigF says so the "
Great Counting Gods in Tinhalla" have deemed Tarky`sEars to be a valid entry "
THIS TIME but late enties will not be accepted in future.

I volunteered for the Huddersfield count after Watford so maybe Tarky can do the next one after that ? Can’t do Millwall though, I’m afraid.
