What a brilliant interview

No moaning whatsoever about Luton’s approach or the pitch, just an expectation that his players will stand up to it

I liked the "it was a different sport in the first half" line

Very honest assessment , suggests the level of detail VK and the team into before they play each opponent and how you have to adapt ,and how the players embrace it. Impressive

I think he justs gets the game so much better than 'us' fans to be honest.
His decisions, with hindsight, are always the right ones.
Always so grounded and honest.

We are lucky, lucky people to have him.

Thanks for posting that - what an excellent interview

VK's attention to detail and football intelligence is unrivalled at this level - no excuses, no negative comments about Luton's approach/the pitch- pure focus on what we are about

He's a PL coach if ever there was one

VK is an absolutely fantastic manager in all aspects, tactics, motivation, media etc..

Just listened to the Luton manager as well. He was very honest too and rightly proud of his teams efforts.

“Luton have a certain way of playing”. Wasn’t that our tagline for the last 10 years?!?

Yes, pretty good from Luton boss. No bull about the penalty, Ince would have been whining
for England about it.

Yes. It's always interesting to hear intelligent people speak, especially about something they're passionate or well versed in.

When it comes to football, Vinnie is both and he shows his intelligence in these interviews like he exuded class on the pitch.

I think he said he had a 4-5 year deal, I hope they are already looking to extend it :D And his staff, clear Bellamy and Co have a big influence

He knows how he wants us to play, but knows there are times when we need to mix it. Today was a perfect example.
Here's to you Vincent Kompany! A top manager. Enjoy him while we can. UTC!

Lol, I thought as I read that comment ‘sounds’ might have been wise, at least.

We see the staged managed Vincent Kompany, created as a player at City. That said, I don’t doubt the man one bit and his sporting career, management of Burnley thus far, combined with his academic achievements… suggest at the end of the day it’s a reasonable assessment. I think Vincent would achieve whatever path he chose.

Classy interview. You get the impression that VK and his backroom team leave no stone unturned in respect to preparation and focusing on the opponent's strengths and weaknesses. And what's just as important is that the players buy into all of this so were not surprised to play in a game like this one. Enjoy these times while we can.
