Bet 365 have paid out on Burnley winning the title for anyone who backed them before the start of the season. Their rules stated that they would settle on any title winners should they go ten points clear with the proviso that none of the chasing pack had played a fewer number of games which in theory could have put them inside that margin.

I backed us ew at 12/1, 7/1 and 6/1 and was telling friends how good value we looked at those sorts of prices. Even when we were drawing games we were comprehensively outplaying teams. Nobody took my advice incidentally.
