Not the film or book (although both great) - it's a TV series 2nd ep tonight.
1st ep was good(ish) - the 2nd WOW
Re: The Piano - C4
This concept of randoms being filmed walking up to and playing pianos in train stations and shopping centres and wherever has been around on YouTube/TikTok for yonks, Channel 4 have just welded it to the soppy, mopey, not-reality reality shite of the Britain's Got Talent variant. It's just totally derivative. Channel 4 used to be quite original.

Re: The Piano - C4
The glib remark confirms Hunters suspicions.
WOW! is an understatement. Rarely does one see a prodigy, genius, "extra"-ordinary person.
I too could not but help to have a tear in my eye and feel so humble and privileged. If I only had 5% of the talent of Lucy.

Just agreeing with most of you. An amazing, incredible young woman and parents.
Re: The Piano - C4
I watched the first episode and didn't think too much of it, but watched her performance last night while flicking through the channels and thought she was amazing. Chuffed when she was chosen to go through to the final.

Re: The Piano - C4
Series one magical.
This series is a different animal as everyone now knows. So far the sentiment card is far more heavily played..
I'll stck with it for ep 2... maybe
BUT finding out the TOXIC Jo Juson (should never be allowed near a TV production)... is part of this series Production. Makes me question whether I want to...

Re: The Piano - C4
It’s something I’ve always wished I could have done, loved the first series and the idea the players didn’t know they were secretly being watched/judged. Agree with the overplay of the sentiment card, but I’ll keep watching for nowSeries one magical.
