So in short.

Beyer back, Tella now fully fit.

No new news on Benson and Jay.

Churlinov was unavailable rather than not selected in recent games.

Al-Dakhil was brilliant in the week but I’d imagine Beyer comes back in for him for this one. Likewise Tella back in for Vitinho.

From Warnock's press conference:

"I’ve just said to Ronnie that I think Burnley are the best Championship team in the last 20-25 years. They can do everything, and they could hold their own in the Premier League."

The fact we have the cup game on Wednesday makes the decision easier. The two who miss out will almost certainly start in midweek.

Churlinov has apparently been ill. However well we’ve played defensively, it’s good to have Beyer back fit.

Absolutely it is, missed those surging runs through the oppositions middle, as well as his commanding presence in defence.
(Not that Charlie or A-D did owt wrong, just the opposite).

Think Al-Dakhil will have a big future, certainly it he continues on his current trajectory.

You'd assume that Peacock-Farrell, Al-Dakhil, Taylor, Vitiniho, Twine, Obafemi and Foster will all get serious minutes against Fleetwood.

Benson is a genuine game changer if he's fit enough for the bench

Certainly would be ideal to get him back for the Fleetwood game

Great to have Beyer back! The other centre halves have done very well but he’s different gravy and opens the opposition up.

Sounds like VK is a little frustrated not to have Benson and Rodriguez back yet though. He said he’s ready for them to be fit again now. Benson in particular is a big miss.

The Rodriguez one in particular is a strange one as it was said he had a niggle then an illness but that was over a week ago now. You’d think he’d be over an illness by now.

With the news on Beyer, I am hoping for:

Muric
Roberts Beyer Ekdal Maatsen
Cullen Brownhill
Tella Twine Zaroury
Barnes

Like it! Though Beyer at LCB, can dribble out better.

I would certainly like to see Twine given another start. It’s only fair he gets a bit of a run as he can’t be expected to come in produce if only getting an hour then dropped for the next couple.

I'd assume Cork starts Saturday as he's suspended for the Cup Wednesday.

This will be Benson’s 6th game in a row missed.

He’s a big miss. Frightening when he’s on song. Zaroury runs him close, but Benson has the ability to change a game in an instant.

Yep, that Watford game in particular was crying out for him to stretch things second half. Massive miss but we’ve picked up some good results without.

Watching Beyer is a real privilege. When he comes forward he just seems to chaperone the ball through the opposition.

Enjoyed both press conferences - two managers respectful of each other's achievements

Neil Warnock cleverly laying the ground for probable defeat with pride and honour intact

Every chance he can keep Huddersfield up but describes Saturday's game as a free hit

Hope I look and sound that good if/when I get to my mid-70s

I’ve never seen Colin heap as much praise on the opposition before a game. Also, said certain of their better players would not be risked against us where they would probably be ok to play Coventry if it was this weekend. For a bloke of such experience it feels like he’s trying some kind of mind games given his team needs to scrap for every point irrespective of opponent.

Enjoyed his conference tbh much better than any I’ve heard from him in the past. I think he’ll play his best team on Saturday and hope that by blowing smoke up our backsides will put us off guard. Unfortunately for him I very much doubt we will be caught off guard, hopefully.

Benson is the only genuine game-changer we have off the bench. Hope he's back soon - must have single handed won us 10+ points this season? Teams can't cope with his pace.

Crafty Colin knows what he's doing and he's doing it well. I hope Huddersfield get a bit of luck in the battle to stay up.
