If I had paid those prices and was greeted with jeans and trainers around me I would demand a refund.
Have to keep the oiks out, don't want putting off my prawn sandwich.

I'm in Hospitality in the Jimmy McIlroy and the dress code allows smart jeans and smart trainers (and tailored shorts if you fancy freezing your whatsits off!). Replica shirts aren't allowed and neither are sportswear or ripped jeans. Hope this helps.

I went in JM hospitality earlier this year and found the dress code a lot more relaxed than stated on the paperwork. Some people were wearing jeans but generally as long as you don't wear sportswear, club colours or logos or white trainers you should be fine.

Policy is scruffy - about right for these times. Tattoos are optional but expected.

I think this has been answered - officially smart casual but jeans & smart trainers allowed.

Don't turn up in nothing but an off-white jock strap and a yellow shower cap like I did. There's a good chance you'll be turned away.

Yes, I remember you got in that day but there's no guarantee it will work every time. ;)

Reckon VK will have made white trainers mandatory by the end of the season. :)

Together with his signature baseball cap. Mandatory I would think.

Most places of hospitality that once employed a rigid dress code are now smart-casual. You'll be fine as long as you don't dress like a chav.

WTF is wrong with white trainers? I can understand they don't want folk turning up looking like roadmen but I wear white trainers all the time and I look smart as fk. I'm presuming you can turn up in white boat shoes, right? because middle class people wear those so they're fine. But then the distinction between boat shoes and trainers becomes quite philosophical. You can wear black flat-soled trainers, but not white? So it's colour? But then what about white loafers? So they're allowed? So it's not colour? So it's specifically white trainers, trainers being defined along the lines of porn: you know it when you see it. So it's gatekeeping. But who is being gatekept? Scruffy chavs, I know, I understand that, but what if you're not a scruffy chav and like white trainers and want to give a business...a football club in a working class town, of all businesses...your money to watch a match around other 50p millionaires?

In fact, you know what, sod it. I'd rather be in the concourse.

Smart-casual is always a much better look than a cheap off the peg ill-fitting suit.

Jeans are fine, I tend to wear my boots or smart trainers with a nice tee shirt and jacket. It really is chilled in there, the food is grand as is the company and the hosts make you feel at ease. The transformation is wonderful and the service is slick, you'll enjoy it.

I don't know if you've booked Hospitality but if you have then you should receive an email, I got mine today and this was in part of the email and if you haven't then I'll post it here for future reference

Hospitality ticket dress code

The dress code for our hospitality areas is smart casual. We politely ask that guests refrain from wearing replica shirts, ripped or bleached jeans, sportswear (inc tracksuits), hats, caps, flipflops or sliders. Smart jeans, tailored shorts and smart trainers are permitted. Guests may be refused admission, or be asked to leave, if they do not adhere to the dress code. Any guest that wears a replica shirt under any jacket/coat/jumper etc, gains access to the corporate area and subsequently removes the outer garment will be asked to leave. For children under 12 years, the dress code is relaxed.

You mean like the standards that had us wear shirts and shoes to get in the sticky-floored hell hole nightclubs before getting a kicking because you knocked over one of these high standard guy's drink by accident?

Give me smart casual and a relaxed atmosphere any day of the week. It's a football game, not a business meeting with Kimg Charles. We'll most of the time anyway...

For Ipswich mine were at the reception desk at the Longside reception area. Phone the hospitality team, they’ll tell you where they can be collected.

Years ago I had tickets for the Bob Lord Hospitality. I arrived without tie and wearing trainers so I was denied access.
Went down town and bought some shoes and a tie and returned. The doorman clearly recognised me but checked that I was wearing a tie under my crew neck sweater and the granted me access.
Later on I noticed an older teenager without tie and in trainers - I knew it was a directors son so drew the doorman's attention to the dress code irregularity.
Obviously I was invited to leave which I did. I've been back to hospitality since, but not when it was under the old regime. My choice.

99.9% sure you can’t, you need a pass, tried to get one when I took a disabled relative in recently, but it was full.
You might get lucky if you ring and chance it

There is only parking for around 300 car's, most are book for the season and I think you can apply for one of the limited spaces but you have to do it at least 24hrs before

You might be able to buy one, but probably not because they're usually sold out.

Think it might be worth ringing the club, spoke to someone with a blue badge/mobility issues recently who was allowed to park behind the Park View. Said the club had control of the car park?!?!
