I suspect that won't be what he's telling his players 😉

Can't disagree with what he's said in that clip.

Clearly mind games. Which I'm sure Kompany will see straight through.

Don't believe this nonsense. He knows the only way they get something tomorrow is if Burnley are complacent.

He will be desperate for points, not only for Huddersfield but to assist his beloved Blades...

It's mind games. If they lose, then they lost to the "best Championship side in the last 20-25 years". If they draw, then it's a massive point and a win would be stratospheric. See, he's saying they have nothing to lose, and everything to gain.

Interesting interview with Jeppo online. Mentions his son is a Burnley season ticket holder and has told him Udders will “hardly touch the ball” tomorrow. Reminds me of another team we could mention.

Used to enjoy chatting with Ronnie in the Swan with Two Necks back in the summer of 2013 and recall him telling
me how Dyche was planning something special when I moaned about the abysmal midweek home performances at the end of the previous season. He was onto something there.

Pleased to see his son has seen the light since his dad struck me as being more of a Northender than a Claret.

Can see tomorrow being a proper scrap.

Warnock will try every trick in the book to nick a point or win.
We'll just have to rise above it and rip into them from the off.

We've never seen reverse psychology from Colin before have we, oh no, not ever.

I believe every word he says.

I have a lot of time for Colin despite Stan's issues with him. He loves football, proper Yaarkshire, says it how he sees it and revels in the 'Colin Wan*er' nickname. Seems to always talk sense when I've heard him - biased a bit? Of course, who isn't - but not overly so to my mind.

Huddersfield will just pump the ball high into the box all day and try and win loads of free kicks out side our penalty area

Considering pretty much no one is gonna take the slightest bit of notice I think it’s simply Colin being pretty realistic about his teams slim chance , though he’s hardly wet behind the ears . Got a lot of time for Colin he’s a proper football man and anyone who stuck it to that foul tempered little drunkard Ternent deserves all the credit due .

One of the best managers we’ve been able to witness in the last 20-30 years, has a fantastic podcast too.

Will be a sad day when Sharon actually likes having him in the house.

A bit worse than that for those who remember the WBA vs Sheff Utd "battle"

Renditions of “there’s only one Colin W@nker” tomorrow… after we’ve won of course :D

It's up to us not to get dragged into a scrap.

Everyone knows we're better than them in all departments, so it's important that we're patient like we've had to be in a few games recently.

If we just play our usual game, don't rise to any
Colin-type provocation and take our chances, it'd be a major surprise if we don't get the 3 points.

Calls El Hadj Diouf a sewer rat and castigates the player openly after the QPR v Blackburn game where he was managing QPR. Suggests Blackburn should be rid of him.

Signs El Hadj Diouf the following season. Then there was that refusal to shake the hand of

He plays nice when he needs to and couches his angry behaviour in a 'silly old me' routine which somehow endears him to people. Then he's back being a bad tribute act to old school WWF heel managers. Moaning, hissing and whinging for 90 mins from the sidelines. Someone should give him a furry tennis racket or megaphone to complete the look.

Mind games would be us getting Stan to walk out with the team, (alongside VK of course).

Neil Warnock always seemed to be a Burnley manager to me but alas it never happened. It was probably firmly out to bed after the Ternent era.

He was indeed a very canny manager indeed and used budgets extremely well , and like you said guided us to a very tidy champ team . This doesn’t preclude him being a foul tempered, aggressive and cowardly little drunkard though . Incredibly lucky not to be convicted with the headbutt case as well.
