Now, as the odds suggest I'm not saying it's likely! But I'm putting a fiver on this. I don't ever bet big so bit of fun. You'd expect we beat Fleetwood, and then a decent draw at home and you've a good chance of a semi final.
There's only man city and man united left who I'd not back us against at home. Even spurs I'd fancy us!

I saw someone suggest an each way (final 2) when we were 64/1, not the worst bet

Put the money on the double with the Championship title. That'll increase the odds to 42/1. (But imagine the pain if we win the Cup but blow the League!)
Those odds seem pretty mean to me, but I suppose the bookies are chasing fan money rather than serious gambler money, so they don't need to be generous. Or even fair.

Not taking it for granted that we'll beat Fleetwood (who are on a good run at the moment) but I'd love to see this Burnley team take on any top flight outfit if we go full strength

that's much better! As someone else said the odds are fairly poor tbh but just a bit of fun. I do think with some top performances and decent bit of luck we've half a chance of seeing Wembley. What a season that would be

Don't worry, I've told the kids it's rice and onions this week to cover it

Before the third round I backed Brighton 28/1, Brentford 33/1 and Burnley 100/1. Brentford went out in the 3rd round but my other 2 are both playing well. So a favourable quarter final draw if they both get there and I would consider having a good run for my money. I could really do with a Manchester quarter final.

Just on pure odds it’s a great price. When you factor in we have lost 3 times all season in all competitions, all away from home with the possibility of only one away game left it’s a fantastic value bet done as each way 2 pl one third odds. Whether it wins or not it’s a great bet.

Is there room in the trophy cabinet or is a joiner needed?
After Wednesday, if all goes well, we can all smell Wembley!

I wouldn't rule out us upsetting Spurs if we should meet them especially at TM their record is pretty poor there, and with Spurs you simply never know how they'll perform on any given day.
They beat City one week, then get thumped at Leicester the following week.
All the other teams will no doubt be fervently hoping for an all Manchester quarter-final, and somebody Like Brighton or even Burnley on present form will be difficult opponents for many.

If we get past Fleetwood, and I go back to the Wimbledon game ( Dicky Guy etc ), does anyone else have the feeling we'll draw Manchester City away ?

110 years ago In 1913, burnley we're going well in the second division and looking good for promotion. But the Cup then was the big prize. We got all the way to the semi final only to be knocked out by first division Sunderland.
We got promotion and then won the Cup in our first year back in the top flight.
History repeating?

And since you mention it, 1947 Burnley were going well in the second division and looking good for promotion. We reached the final, lost in extra time to Charlton, but won promotion. The following year we finished third in the top flight.

After 3rd round exit of several EPL teams, and the way we are playing, we put £11 ew at 150/1. Need to get to the final for each way to kick in. No cash out available yet. Win tomorrow and draw winners of Grimsby v Southampton at home and I will start getting excited!

There was a few “fools” that bet on Leicester to win the league at 5000/1
