Advice. Everybody wants to give it away, very few of us are prepared to accept it.

There are only three pieces of advice I've ever taken on as universal, and I can't even remember the third.

1. Too much of anything is bad for you
2. Remember who your friends are

What's the best advice and/or rules for life you've ever been taught?

Not so sure the last applies to most people. Or even the first in many cases. Good rules to be fair but as for being in your control I don’t think that is quite right.
