Option to buy Jordan Beyer
The newspaper Rheinische Post is suggesting Burnley have an option to buy Jordan Beyer for a fee of 15 million Euros.
Re: Option to buy Jordan Beyer
It's a strange option where the price increases every week

I knew we shouldn’t have let Kwartang and Truss negotiate this one.

Re: Option to buy Jordan Beyer
A few weeks ago they were saying there was no option, lazy jurno, not sure we would have agreed 15 mil for an untested German reserve, Nixon said 3 mil.

Re: Option to buy Jordan Beyer
Probably an element of BMG putting stories out in the press to divert attention from making a ridiculously bad error in allowing us a clause to sign him at a snip of a price. This will be 'undisclosed' when it goes through to allow whatever they are feeding to the press to somewhat placate their fans.
Just my read on it.

It is said that NORI bricks got their name because they were hard as IRON. The one problem was that the apprentice mould make got the mirror image wrong! Used all round the world, including for the WW1 memorial at Thiepval, sort of appropriate bearing in mind the Accrington Pals.

The major difference being the former have in fact ruined the prospects of thousands of families across the land.

Incredible how a thread about a footballers buy out clause can be turned in to political point scoring. Only on this forum.

Correct, it is sad how frustrated some must be on here by being denied the chance to pass on their political expertise that they just can't help themselves

Re: Option to buy Jordan Beyer
I heard £4m (€5m) initially, €10 million yesterday, now €15m…
No idea where the truth lies but I will say that I think it highly unlikely that we were discussing the higher figures for a CB well down the pecking order at BM who they seemingly couldn’t wait to put on a plane in summer.

Re: Option to buy Jordan Beyer
If we can get him for £4m originally quoted that really will be an absolute bargain.
He's a Mercedes in a league full of old bangers.

Perhaps the later fees are anticipating a revival of the pound against the Euro (bringing Brexit into the mix!).

Re: Option to buy Jordan Beyer
We definitely need to get this lad signed up permanently in the summer, his value will only increase that's for sure, especially if he displays his class on the PL stage.
