Ewood tickets

All I will say is book into the hospitality or be ready to queue up at silly o clock with a lot of points.
Allocation will be silly even when considering what has been argued as small on here.
……. Championship/EFL dictates 2k away tickets to be given ……… and don’t forget to take the club comps out of that ….

I had a feeling they might try and give us similar to what they got at the Turf.

Take a few hundred off for hospitality and comps on top of that and you’re left with a lot of annoyed Burnley fans.

I honestly don’t blame them, why add pressure to your play off push if you don’t need to, what’s 200k in lost ticket/food/drink revenue when you’re chasing £100m
Annoying but us moaning will only give the bell ends satisfaction

It makes me less inclined to try and bother tbh. We'll already be up, I'll go to the local and have a few jars.

Be amusing if they are out of the play offs by the time of the game, hard to imagine their cowards attending knowing they have to sit through a party on their patch.
Exposes them and their cowardice to all other fans watching too. Makes walking a league they struggle in every year that more sweeter

10 thousand points and a ticket stub from the infamous Colchester game in the 80s required.

That would be brilliant ... especially if Alan Pace offered season ticket holders free entry to TM, and put big screens on the pitch so everyone had a good view in each stand

How come in the prem you have to give 10% but in the championship only 2k?
If this game was in the prem we would be entitled to at least 3k.
Why is it so different? Makes no sense.

I thought it was 10% or 3k as a rule but when I looked into it I found it was 2k in Champ …. Forest were infamous for giving 2002 tickets to teams

These are the current allocation requirements:
"In the Premier League, home clubs are required to offer visiting clubs a minimum of 3,000 tickets or 10 per cent of the seats in the stadium if the capacity does not exceed 30,000.
The EFL – Championship, League One and League Two — works on a similar basis. Home clubs in the three divisions must make provision for 2,000 visiting supporters or, if the stadium holds fewer than 20,000 fans, 10 per cent of their stadium capacity."

No, because it would be so funny with the boycott being mentioned every five minutes so that everyone could see what a joke of a club they are, if it's really because of pressure from supporters clubs,...no fans should have that much power......at any club.

When you look at it it’s actually quite funny.
They are walking away from circa £250k plus income because their fans can’t hack us having a good old sing song in the Darwen end.
Wonderfully childish and in some respects funnier than us getting the lot and having that sing sing at their expense.

Ewood park is bigger then Bournemouth, Brentford, Palace, Fulham and probably a few others. The smaller grounds argument makes no sense. 10% is 10%, should be the same in the championship.

The 10% rule only applies to grounds which hold less than 20,000.

But on average grounds in the Championship are a lot smaller than the Prem.

I started a thread on this subject a while ago. It's crazy thinking from Rovers and the Police. Could lead to far more problems with people traveling without tickets, getting into home sections and I'd imagine would do nothing more than make our players even more determined to go there and win..

According to the police twitter account they have given a figure to Rovers thats over 2k and under 7k that they would be happy to police....as above I would guess at around 4k

Police happy with 4900, but that’s a suggestion not an enforcement. Rovers want to give us 1900.

Recently went to Vitesse Arnhem vs Nijmegen derby match and Nijmegen boycotted the match completely because they weren’t offered enough ticket allocation - the banner they displayed in the away section reads ‘400 Is Not Enough’!

I have been told by a friend at their club they are undecided yet and are weighing all things up , personally I think they might give us half the stand but not in the know , just have to wait until it's announced .

Not the same but Sheff Utd had around 3700 at the ground not sure if that was their total allocation or if some went unsold but surely they would give similar.
Person I would be checking the possibility of having a big screen on the Turf and sell tickets for that at a tenner or so instead. If we could do that I would accept the lower figure and try and get 10,000 or so on the Turf.

Make it 2 quid, boycott Ewood and have a bigger attendance on the Turf for the big screens.

Exactly, but it's a difficult one because of what is at stake for both clubs , personally I would give half the stand and you have to go on the bus again , but you still might get the odd few who turn up tanked up and it could cause trouble . There's no easy way around it.

That's exactly what I'm relating too yes. There were also reports of damage caused at other pubs and inside the stadium too.
There was also a decent amount of Burnley Police at that game too which is common for high profile games, I'm sure the intelligence they feed back won't exactly be a glowing endorsement of some of our fans behaviour on Saturday.

The trouble in the stand was an isolated incident due to 1 idiot acting out of order. Who initiated the incident outside the Manchester hasn't been stated by the authorities but as it was at the away pub it wouldn't seem unexpected that our fans were involved. Personally I don't see how either of these incidents would have an affect on our Rovers allocation, as was stated earlier in the thread.

I’m assuming by that comment that there’s a defined away hospitality section as opposed to just booking in the Rovers home hospitality?
Thanks
