Bought tickets but when selecting seats there was very limited availability in blocks 45 and 47 but surely they hadn’t nearly sold out them blocks in one minute

When I went in when it first went online, there were a lot already showing as sold - so I suspect they've reserved some (that was block 47).
Were you able to select seats? I couldn't when I went in, just wouldn't work.

Block 47 had a few left, block 45 was OK, I got 7 in there. They went on sale a few minutes early today.

Took about 8 attempts to buy my 6, every time I picked seats they had gone when I went to buy them. Kept having to change blocks due to quite a high number missing each time it took you back to selecting seats.
At least we had the option of all blocks being available this time.

I got mine at 10.04, and had no problem selecting a seat.
It may be due to the fact I was only buying the one ticket, but the system worked.

Last week there was no collect option initially - still not got my Man City tickets. This week it was seat selection which is now working.

Had to refresh it a few times but got there in the end.
Wonder if it’ll ever be smooth again when buying tickets online?

Same. Absolutely no idea if it's any good. I've been before, but no idea what block I was in. Got mine at 10.02 which must be up there as some kind of record because "on sale at 10.00" normally means quarter past at BFC.

What's the rule about minimum allocation in the Championship? Doesn't seem many tickets for a ground that holds over 30 thousand.

It was a case of it not being set up correctly again I assume and then them realising when people couldn't select seats.
Doubt it will be smooth running again.

5% or 2k (whichever is smaller) EFL
10% or 3k (whichever is smaller) Prem

Just checked, apologies
10% if capacity under 20,000 or 2k minimum in EFL
10% if Capacity under 30,000 or 3k minimum in Prem
So assuming we both get promoted, we'll get roughly 900 extra tickets next season

44 is one of the front/lower tiers. Along with 46, 50 and 51. So depends if you prefer sitting low down close to the pitch.

Bought 5 tickets when they went on sale this morning, when I got to the end of the transaction I got a message on the screen saying....."There has been a problem processing your payment card, please try again"...
So went back into the basket and the seats that I had chosen were still there. I then chose the payment option, put my card details in and this time there were mo problems with my card.
A minute or so later I received the usual confirmation email of payment.
A few minutes later I received notification from my bank telling me that 2 payments of £122 had been paid to Burnley FC.
I checked my account and saw that yes indeed 2 payments had been taken.
So I rang the ticket office and spoke to a lady who I didn't find very helpful. She told me that it was me who had made the payments online so it was nothing to do with Burnley FC. I was a little taken aback by that and told her that I wasn't happy, she then put me on hold saying she would speak to someone else.
When she came back to me she said that my ticketing account had been checked and only 1 payment had been taken for Middlesbrough tickets.
She said to me....."how can it be the clubs fault if you did it yourself online?"....
By now I think she was beginning to realise that I was getting annoyed and told me that if I wanted to take it any further I would have to email or take in my bank statement to the ticket office to prove that I had been charged twice for the same transaction.
She said if I take in a copy of my bank statement it will be passed to the accounts dept for investigation.
Good job I'm not depending on that money for this weeks shopping.
The club's ticketing website is hopeless at times.

In all fairness if she can only see one transaction what is she supposed to do? An email with a copy of your bank statement showing the two payments is probably the best way to sort this.

Has the money been taken or is it just pending. Sometimes failed transactions can sit in pending for a while before being returned.

Well her tone could have been a little more sympathetic for a start instead of telling me it was my problem.
I didn't expect that reaction at all from the ticket office but knowing how some things are at the moment in there then maybe I should have done.
The money has been taken from my bank account by the way.

The strange thing is, the system should prevent Clarets no.s being used twice to get tickets.

Send an email the club are usually good as responding to them quickly so hopefully you have it resolved sooner rather than later. Pretty impressed you actually managed to get through on the phone though.

Sounds like a bank problem rather than the website. Obviously the bank received the request and will have put those funds on hold. Then something happened on the transaction so it wasn’t completed, but the payment is still on hold. Then you did a new transaction that has gone through. The bank will release your pending funds in the next day or so.

Might be worth calling your bank and telling them a duplicate payment has been taken for an Online transaction. I wouldn’t go in to all the detail as to what happened, just that two payments were taken but the club only have one on record. I think if you position it as an error they might refund it for you. My bank have always been excellent like that!

Be careful criticising the ticket office staff. Some on here would give their lives to defend them!
Over the last few years the ticket office have gone really down hill. I guess this is all part of the American customer service and hospitality?
